We’re Marianne and Chris, a married couple from the UK. After some life changing events we decided that life was just too short. We sold all our belongings, bought an old Campervan & rented our house to travel full time. The aim is to attempt to visit every country in the world in either our van or with a backpack. We started videoing our travels for our family and then decided it was a wonderful way to document and share our adventures.
Our latest adventure started in January 2020 when we left the UK in an attempt to drive our van all the way around the world. Let the adventures continue.

Everything was in Dalyan really great. The beautiful nature of Dalyan, meeting the Turkish van lifers , the blue water, the Chris swimming, the 500-year-old tree and the people's desire to have children, the orange trees and so on. Everything was amazing. We wish you a pleasant stay in Fethiye.

I love that you went through our village of Fevziye to visit Kukurt, and found the wishing tree at the base of the mountain. It's not only used to wish for babies though, you can wish for anything, so long as it isn't to do harm.
I'm really enjoying watching your videos of Turkey, and yes the locals are very friendly & welcoming. x
We visited Dalyan for 2 weeks holiday many years ago.
We loved it so much we bought a house. We sold when when our first Grandchild arrived after 10 years of waiting.
We really, really miss it.
That was our favourite bakery in Ortca where you bought the Simits!!

Wow, what can I say? Absolutely brilliant third Dalyan video. I think you’ve done Muğla proud over the last few weeks. And I can’t wait to see how Fethiye treats you. Of course, Çalış beach front is undergoing major reconstruction at the moment, but I’m sure you will find other lovely areas to show. Because the surrounding mountains are so high, they are always covered in snow every winter. People in Fethiye go up to Nif for a Sunday picnic in the snow! Oh, and by the way, İstanbul is no stranger to snow every winter. It’s magical (until it turns to slush). Sundays and Wednesdays are the highlight of my lockdown viewing. Thank you, Marianne and Chris.

Wile your still in that. Area. Take a trip to TURUNC a beautiful Turkish harbour village..the scenery is amazing. Plus there are some elderly British people live there.its paradise in Turkey xx

Dalyan is beautiful , you need to try eastern parts of turkey such as hatay(Antakya) beautiful cuisine and people 🇹🇷🧿

Antep cuisine is under cultural conservation by the UNESCO.

Brilliant Chris that sulphur pool looked amazing, it just had to be tried out ! Now your coming to my personal favourite area Fethiye 😀So can’t wait to see your next video 👏🥂
So much to see in this area, it is so beautiful, we have spent many holidays on this coast. No doubt you will go to Oludeiniz (and Babadag) when you are in Fethiye. Make sure you go to Kayakoy, the ghost village, the Saklikent Gorge and along the coast to Xanthos, Patara and Kas.

Thers a shop in istanbul selling uk foodstuffs it was quite pricey i thought . I was perfectly happy with the turkish foods . I never really missed stuff from home . Maybe shropshire blue cheese its got to be one of my fave cheeses i even managed to find a gd tangy cheddar style cheese in town . I know u marianne are a lover of cheese also . U need cheese in your life . I can live without chocolate but not cheese hahaha . That van life couple were so nice il deffo be adding that couple on youtube . Hope ur both well today .
Hi Ian Yes we normally just eat local foods - everyone once in a while we crave some food from back home but the imported foods are very expensive so we decided against it !! We did get an indian take out in Dalyan that was really nice :)
There are usually shops to buy UK foods along the Muğla coastline, often called The Pork Shop.

Are you using any books to learn Turkish. I had a look at it once and thought having a Turk at your side would be the best way of learning it!
