  • What if you could go to work every day feeling joyful, engaged, and filled with purpose? Imagine creating this type of life not just for yourself, but also for others. Great leadership is about recognizing yourself, and the people around you, as biological beings - susceptible to the same physical reactions to threats and stress as all other animals on this planet and putting systems in place to protect the life force of your people. Not recognizing this truth puts health, productivity, and organizational culture at risk. Many employees today are living their lives like endangered species, stuck within an inhospitable environment, carrying chronic stress, and without the capacity to effectively deal with ever-emerging crises. They are working on the edge of what is manageable and in danger of physical, mental, or emotional collapse. This model is not sustainable.
Imagine being a leader that promotes life, the rich, full, and healthy lives of our people, as the biggest driver of our organizational success. A leader who creates a culture of vitality; supercharging growth, engagement, and productivity in those around you. In a world full of chronic environmental stressors, you, and your people, have the ability to do more than just survive to the weekend. Taking lessons of biology and endangered species recovery, we can embrace the potential of transforming our lives from one of constant fight-or-flight reactions to one thriving within our work and home environments.
The truth is, the process all started with a fish. Heather Dyer is the CEO/GM at the San Bernardino Valley Municipal Water District. 💯. Beautiful! "Positive Leadership Philosophy" goal of "Organizational Evolution": "take care of selves; take care of each other = resilience. Listen to all with an open heart. "And pass to next generation "= "change the world". In simple words: learn unconditional love for self and all others. A simple method to build these qualities, inner strength, raise personal frequency: Sing *HU* daily. Search how to sing *HU* .
