Boy was I slow getting into Survivor. All through the eighties all I heard from Survivor was "Eye Of The Tiger" but I didnt fully get into Survivor untill about the last few years and I WAS A TEENAGER IN THE EIGHTIES!!! DOH. Then I found out Jim Peterik founded a new AOR band called Pride Of Lions and they are great. Is there no end to this man's writing and singing talent? Lovely home Jim and as I live in Northern Ireland I LOVED the Union Jack guitar 🎸🇬🇧
Back in 2022 Jim Peterik released the song "All That's Mine to Give" that features Toby on lead vocals as an Indie release under Peterik's own name. It's basically a Pride of Lions song that wasn't released through Frontiers. There is even a music video for it which was made by Cathy Richardson. I assume it is the same Cathy who is the current lead singer of Jefferson Starship and who has collaborated with Jim Peterik on various projects including singing multiple songs on the first and third (Tigress) World Stage albums over a period of decades. She also sang a duet with him, "Blue Storm Rising" on the Ides of March "Play On" album from 2019. If you want to hear what Peterik would have sounded like on a Survivor like power ballad love song, listen to his duet with Cathy Richardson, "From Here to Hereafter" from the first World Stage album. Toby sings lead vocals on the song "Home Fires" from the 2nd World Stage album (Winds of Change). That album also features a previously unreleased song by the late Jimi Jamison, "Love You All Over the World". The Winds of Change, Tigress, and two upcoming World Stage albums are released via Frontiers. So, they are all AOR style songs. A young Welsh singer, Chez Kane, sings the song "A Cappella" on the Tigress album. Also, for something, completely different, that shows Peterik's sheer versatility as a songwriter, try listening to his solo song "2000 Year-Old Man" his ode to the Mel Brooks/Carl Reiner comedy skit of the same name.
A Jimmy Peterik has a beautiful home. I just love his talent as a great song writer. I would of loved to have seen inside Jimi Jamison home how he lived when he was still alive.
This guy is my hero a songwriter genius all 38 Specials early hits hold on loosely Caught up in you Survivor hits Eye of the Tiger and my personal favorite Caught In the Game

Jim Peterik: Legend!
Survivor's 'Vital Signs' is my favourite album of all time. I know every single note of that record off by heart.
A house filled with passion and great boots!
