Thanks and greatings from France 😊
Thank you for this. Its beautiful
Thanks.
@@canuck64 Sorry 🤭
Tim Conway funniest man sadly missed.
Love them all
I agree Tim conway was hilarious .
Tim was SO funny...
Mr Conway and Harvey Korman played well off of one another, one of those great comedy tag teams of those days.
My mother was totally devoid of a sense of humor, a fact she would seldom deny. Once when she was unamused by a comedian I was enjoying on TV I pointed out that she didn't like any comedians. She thought briefly, then said that was untrue--she liked Tim Conway.
"Im right here Billy."
That gets me. Sad, yet beautiful at the very same time.
I introduced my best buddy Harry to Hollywood Graveyard 2 years ago and we would watch hours of episodes together. He loved this channel and would light up when I told him a new video was added for us to watch together. Sadly, he died yesterday suddenly of a heart attack at 77. It was truly a gift to see this today. Thank you for bringing him so much joy, he really enjoyed your work. 💕
Prayers going up!!!
Sorry for you loss.😔
Thank you for sharing, George. Very sorry to hear of Harry's passing. All the best to you, and to the memory of Harry.
So sorry for your loss. But you will have some lovely memories that no one can take away. Xx
I'm so sorry.
It feels surreal to see the graves of the actors you grew up watching in movies and TV. RIP
I agree. All these high profile celebs you could never approach in real life, now have all the time in the world for anyone that wants to walk up to them.
@WinGate Mose damnnnn. That's sad.

Whenever I'm in L.A. I always make it a point to visit Mr. Dean Martin's grave.
I live in Dean’s hometown of Steubenville, Ohio. Every year, the city holds a festival the weekend of his birthday, which is named in his honor
I wounder what the world would be like if all of those famous people were still alive and not one musician, comedian, actor, and many more were not dead.
I bet this world would be extremely great.
RIP to all of them
Always a good day with hollywood graveyard
Audrey Wilder’s memorial bench says “I’m Right Here Billy...” not gonna lie, that got to me.
THAT was the fastest 21 minutes that I've spent in a while!
Seriously. It zipped by.
@@lilbatz The worst part of these is when they end. I could(and have)watch this for hours!
Even the longer videos seem like they just fly by!!
It felt under 10 minutes....the history involved made it interesting.
Even as a kid watching Tim Conway you couldn't help but to bust up laughing, especially at his old man routine with Harvey korman who couldn't keep a straight face either!
Never gets old. I could watch that elephant bit every night.
Dwarf golf was my favorite tim conway
One of the first shows I remember watching as a kid in the 70;s was reruns of Mchale's Navy. My dad was career Navy and I always tried to picture my dad goofing off and getting in trouble like they did.
When he put the mask on and said boo to Harvey that had me cryin
They are together in Heaven!
Basically the only channel I have all notification alerts for.
Same.
Ditto
Same here
Yup
Me too😁
I was fortunate enough to speak to Mary Carlisle twice on the phone. I even recorded one of our conversations (with her permission) as she shared remembrances of her time in Hollywood and even gave me some health tips.
I knew Sigrid Valdis as Pat Crane when she lived in Washington state. She was a cat fancier and we belonged to the same fancier's club. She was charming and very approachable.
How great to see you again, Arthur. Always find your videos fascinating.
Arthur has the most mesmerising voice x
@WinGate MoseI agree with you, I think he would make my great aunt Dora's dog Flossy's grave sound interesting.
My Mother passed from Cancer three weeks ago and I think watching your past videos in some small way helped me to remember her life with us and that it's not goodbye but see you later. Thanks for all you do.
I am very sorry for your loss.I lost my dad 2011.I miss him every day but it does get easier and I believe he,ll be waiting for me when it’s my time to go.
So sorry your mum has passed away.
May she rest in peace.
I’m so sorry for your loss, my friend’s mum passed away in early February this year( 2021) she was like” Another mother” to me n a very dear friend.
My mom passed away in 2016, I know she would have loved Hollywood Graveyard. So glad I found you about a year ago.
I’m so glad you did Tim Conway. The Dentist skit is one of thee most funniest moments in Television history. I was a little kid when I seen it for the first time. I never forgot it. I still laugh just as much. Tim Conway is so underrated. He was a comedy genius!
Side note: I can’t remember who said it maybe Tim ConwayJR. On his radio show That Harvey Korman pissed his pants during this skit! He could not keep a straight face and couldn’t hold it..peed all over himself. 😂
As always, clicked immediately and dropped everything to watch 😀❤️
Not only that, you also hope your not interrupted so you can watch the whole episode.
@@sturs100 absolutely!! You read my mind! 😀❤️
@@marshbmath7616 that's cause I do the same thing as you when a new episode arrives.
Tim Conway - one of my favorite comedians from my childhood.
Absolutely brilliant as always .... MORE Arthur MORE .... I’ll just have to be patient I fill .... can’t wait . Jamie England uk 🇺🇸🏴🇺🇸🏴
I had the pleasure to visit this cemetery last year and since Dignity Memorial owns the funeral home I work for, I had the privilege to enter the places that were off limits to the general public.
I’ll never forget Tim Conway. Truly one of the best. RIP Tim
I get so bummed when he says "and finally" I don't want it to end!
Before my best friend died, we wanted to go see all these stars ⭐️ graves before she died because of our grandparents’ being fans of old movies! So now I watch and subscribe to this channel for her! She could have been a co star for Charlie Chaplin or worked for Billy Wilder! She was really funny!
That’s sweet. You sound like a wonderful friend. ❤️
@@shelpippg2202 I miss her dearly ❤️❤️ I know her parents miss her more! I’ll always keep my memories of us being BFFs in my heart ❤️
Thats so nice of you Sarah. Your friend is your guardian angel now.
@@davidm3maniac201 I know she is ❤️❤️ I’ve been sending her purple flowers 💐 once a month at her grave since she died! Purple was her favorite color and I know she would love ❤️ them if she was here! If the roles were changed, she would leave me blue ones for me
Thank you for all the respect you show these beloved celebrities and entertainers. You are so dignified talking about them. Thank you xxc
Always Respectful & NEVER Tabloid!
That’s what hooked me and keeps me returning with each notification!
Arthur Does It Again! A very entertaining and respectful installment.
Christopher George: I remember watching The Rat Patrol as a child and he also appeared with his wife Linda Day George On shows. Linda did an interview on Geraldo’s talkshow In 1995 and was still visibly heartbroken talking about Chris and his sudden death. She said she had known him since she was in her teens and after he died she would go into the closet and sit on the floor holding the close with the smell of his cologne still on them. Terribly moving!
Kirk Douglas: What a career. When he died I’m sure he was still living off his Spartacus $$$$!
Tim Conway: His own self titled show, McHale’s Navy and The Carol Burnett Show. Not to mention his Disney movies! The man kept busy!
Frank Zappa: Somebody on the inside working there will tell TMZ!
Looking forward to your next tour!
Kirk Douglas surely was one of Hollywood's greatest golden-era legends. His longevity fascinated my entire family.
Thomas "Tim" Conway was a great comedian who was indeed a principal member of the cast of McHale's Navy and The Carol Burnett Show. The Disney movies he was in were live-action films in the '70s and from 1998 to his death. They include "The Apple Dumpling Gang", "Air Bud: Golden Receiver", and the spin-off direct to DVD "Air Bud" films "Buddies". I remember him and many Millenials to Zoomers know him as the voice of "Barnacle Boy" in Spongebob, alongside his McHale's Navy comrade Ernest Borgnine who was the voice of "Mermaid Man."
Frank Zappa's rock was very psychedelic and progressive. One of his biggest hits was "Valley Girl". I understand why he is unmarked. Maybe for privacy reasons.
Thanks for educating me Mr Dark on these individuals lives. May they all rest in peace.
Kirk Douglas was one of the world's greatest stars in Hollywood and may his soul rest in peace.
Kirk Douglas was Jewish. I'm surprised he was not buried in one of the Jewish cemeteries in the Los Angeles area.
This is not “the” Kirk Douglas. The dates are wrong 1958-2004.
KIRK Douglas wasn't that good of a person. Natalie Wood said he raped her when she was 15 and he may have been involved with the disappearance of Jean Spangler in 1947
@@robertthompson6958 5 februari 2020
That is the date for his son Eric's death. It's very confusing and rather haphazard looking. Almost like an afterthought they just tossed Kirk's name up there. Quite strange.
Tim Conway was a comedy genius, one of the funniest people God ever put on the planet! The Dentist and The Siamese Elephant sketches from the Carol Burnett Show are two of the funniest scenes in history, but he also had brilliant scenes with Carol Burnett in the recurring "Mr. Tudball and Mrs. Wiggins" sketches. Burnett said those characters were Conway's idea! Also had some hilarious Disney movies with the equally legendary Don Knotts, who is buried just a few yards away. Loved him as Ensign Parker in McHale's Navy too.
Christopher George also had a memorable role as a villainous hired gun who has a climactic showdown with John Wayne in
"El Dorado." You failed to mention he was also the uncle of Vanna White from "Wheel of Fortune."
Miss watching the Carol Burnett Show, it seemed like good clean fun.....
I used to work in a small restaurant, and a guy who worked for Alabama Power Company, would come in often, and we would kid him that he looked just like Tim Conway, only to find out he was stopped by people all the time wanting to know if he was indeed, Tim Conway! I had him to autograph a ticket for me as Tim. He thought it was hilarious!! We also had a local doctor that looked just like Joe Namath! Get a papsmear from that guy!! Sadly, the dr died on the tennis court at the local country club in the early 90s. But, you can see Joe on the sidelines at all the Bama games.
PS, the other dr in that office looked like singer, Glen Campbell.
Happiness is a new episode of Hollywood Graveyard!
Christopher George also appeared on “Dark Shadows.”
Anyone remember his Thursday night TV series, The Immortal? Never missed an episode.
He was in the movie Chisum with John Wayne and believe it or not he appeared in Playgirl mag
“And that concludes our tour” I have to wait another month 😭😭😭😭
Welcome back Arthur , you make my Sunday night , iPad , bed. Perfect ✌🏼
Greetings from Italy 🇮🇹
You included my favorite movie ending of all time, featuring Joe E. Brown and the great Jack Lemmon!
Kirk Douglas in Lust for Life is among my all-time favorites, I believe that Mr Douglas's own lust for life led to his amazing longevity.
I love that you do people we might not necessarily know about especially behind the scenes people animators, composers, etc. They all played important roles.
Tim Conway was such a brilliantly funny man and my childhood memories of him are from The Carol Burnett Show where his hilarious escapades live on.
His story on the Siamese elephants 🐘cracks me up
That was fun. Over way too fast. I guess, much like life! 😆
I recently re-watched Fiddler on the Roof. Such a fantastic cast. So sad that many of them are now gone.
Louis Jourdan is one of my favorite villains on Columbo in the episode "Murder Under Glass". Who am I kidding, all of the actors who played villains on Columbo were great!
He made me laugh more than anyone I ever saw. Everyone on "Carol Burnett" was wonderful, Tim cracked me up the most.😂
Tim Conway was on Scooby Doo
It has been a long time since I visited Westwood. Bob Crane and Fanny Brice were relocated there from other cemeteries, and Josef Von Sternberg has a snappy new niche. In Hollywood even the dead get around.
Absolutely love this channel
I do look forward to these videos, I know it’s a lot of work but 20 mins just doesn’t seem to be long enough 😏
My husband look like kirk douglas a lot people tell him that, is very funny when people say to him you know to who you look like..we answer yes kirk Douglas
I loved Tim Conways' dwarf golfer and just the hilarious things he would come up with.
Don Knotts and Tim were two of my favorites along with Abbott and Costello.
love from Glasgow too
Tim Conway's dentist scene was very funny, but the one I liked best was the elephant story with Mama and Eunice. It's hilarious! 🐘
I have to agree Robert, they all lost it in that sketch, absolutely Tim Conway was the best in his field.
Big fan. PLEASE DO WOODLAWN CEMETERY IN DETROIT, MICHIGAN! You’ll find all 3 deceased members of the 4 Tops, David Ruffin, Rosa Parks, Aretha Franklin, a memorial marker for Michael Jackson, the Gordy family, the family of Henry Ford, & SO MANY MORE! It’ll be sure to open you up to a much wider audience, especially with the Motown Stars! (Think about it)
Louis Jourdan--my favorite actor. And his beautiful love story with his wife of over 60 years is so touching.
Definitely the cemetery to visit next time I am in LA.
Thank you for remembering Christopher George. Let's face it, Arthur Dark is a national treasure. There is always an amazing sense of authentic genuineness in Arthur's videos. The striking imagery, the amazing video clips, the fantastic music, and that iconic voice. Thank you so much.
Tim Conway and his Dorf character use to bring me to tears laughing while I was watching The Carol Burnette show .............
Watching from England. Just what I need on a Sunday evening. Excellent.
Thank you Arthur. You are awesome good sir. Stay safe and blessed.❤️
Visited this cemetery in 2006. It's a great place. You have to watch for the sign if you want to visit it. Almost missed It!
Kirk Douglas a legend great actor
Great to see a new video from you. I live learning the history of Hollywood in the beginning and now and beyond. We take for granted all the work that went into televison and movies.
This channel is so underrated the amount of time, effort and research that goes in to the videos is top notch great content as usual 👍🏻
Man I loved Kirk Douglas Rest In Peace ✌️🥀
After watching these, I find myself looking for and watching some of the older movies on TCM. Thanks for these awesome memories.
Great video Arthur! :) Tim Conway's mausoleum stone is beautiful!!
I always enjoy your videos, :) keep them coming.
Greetings from Australia.
YES I REMEMBER CHRISTOPHER GEORGE , AND THAT PANAVISION WHICH IS ALSO CALLED LETTER BOX. ALL BELOVED STARS 🌟 ARE HERE , ALL WHOM I MISS 🙏❤⚘ May the perpetual light shine upon them. 🙏💔😪 FANTASTIC ARTHUR , ALWAYS A DELIGHT TO WATCH YOUR VIDEOS THANK YOU ❤❤
If you loved Tim Conway's sense of humor, I would highly recommend reading his autobiography called "What's So Funny?"
It is a riot from start to finish. I promise it is well worth the read if you were a fan of his.
I have no monetary interest in promoting the book but I am all for sharing the joy of his life that he shared with us through his comedic talent.
I never get tired of watching your videos. Thank you Arthur.
Another great edition Arthur. I went there in 2012 and it is packed with famous Graves everywhere you turn .
So glad that you are back!
Greetz from The Netherlands.
Let’s go! A new adventure to go with my chill Sunday
Never stop doing these, please!
7:48, hometown hero: Tim Conway. Born in Willoughby, my hometown.
Also, could you do a revisit to Pacific View?
His parents are buried in Chagrin Falls if I’m not mistaken.
I adore all of these videos, such great work
One of my favorite channels!!! My son and I enjoy these...you do everything right!! Thank you for doing these 🥰
Here's my slightly interesting Kip Adotta story: in Philadelphia there's a comedian named Big Daddy Graham. He has had some songs do well on the Dr Demento radio show, specifically the song Nuns. They were also both big on the local morning show WMMRs Morning Zoo. For whatever reason many people thought he did Kips Wet Dream and Kip did his song Nuns. When Kip came to Philadelphia to perform people kept shouting out for him to do Nuns. He had no clue what the hell anyone was talking about and the Morning Zoo guys eventually were able to explain it.
I remember Wet Dream.
I remember it too (though for some reason I thought he was younger). I loved how a long series of seafood references and puns on the names of fish led to the inevitable expected line "she drank like a...", where he stopped and changed it to "she drank a lot."
Kip Adotta's Wet Dream is on Dr. Demento's Greatest Novelty CD of All Time.
Louis Jordan also starred in "The Immoralist" on Broadway with James Dean. The two got along like oil and water and Dean eventually quit the show to begin filming his first starring role in a feature film "East Of Eden"
Welcome back, Arthur! You were missed! These videos are all too short! "that concludes our tour" is the saddest line in the English language. Looking forward to your next fabulous presentation. Until then, stay well! Love you! Mary
Ahhh, thus ends a Hollywood Graveyard marathon. Watched and liked EVERY single one. Thanks Arthur.
I remember Janet Margolin in Ghostbusters II. She was the prosecuting attorney at the Ghostbusters' court case.
She was a stunner
I will never forget the intro
Great stuff arthur i will probably never get to visit the stars final resting place so keep them coming Great entertainment 👍
I didn't even look at my notifications. The video just popped up in my recommendations, and just figured I'd watch it since it was there. Just so happened to be a few minutes ago. Also, RIP Barnacle Boy. :(
Thank you once again for a great tour, I always look forward to them.
when Conway passed on and knowing Korman was already gone I expecting some kind earth-shattering storm, oh well maybe happen when the whole team is gone
This channel is the gold standard for famous grave tours! Another great one. Hans
I Love this Channel friend, your intro is great, keep on going!! greetings from México 🇲🇽👋👏👏
Interesting about Zappa.
Conway's book, "What's So Funny", is both entertaining and informative. I recommend the audiobook, since, of course, Conway, himself does the narration.
Both ethereal and melancholic for the past this program represents and therfore extraordinarily compelling. Great episode as always. Chapeau bas !
This cheered me up as soon as I saw the new hollywood episode x love it x
Get out work to find that HG posted another video! Best day ever!
ALWAYS so interesting and informative. I always drop what I'm doing to watch. I lived there for 7 years while working and never thought to visit this place but then I never even knew it was there, not until years later. Thanks, Arthur!
these videos are so addictive, love them, thank you Arthur & Giuseppe. all the best !
Absolutely Love your videos always so interesting thank you for taking us along
I would love to see a famous rock/metal musician special at some point. Seeing the graves of Dio, Lemmy, and Jeff Hanneman were 3 of my favorites.
Robert Newton was so iconic😳❤️
Excellent work man. You rock the famous graves world and The Twilight Zone episode was phenomenal. I live in the Philippines and love watching your work. Thanx
I love your video's keep up your good work thank you
oh lord Dr Demento.. i loved it way back when lol (gods I always feel so OLD watching you! lol love it!) you never cease to amaze me as i watch and remember growing up with a good portion of each video.. having parents from the depression era and grandparents from the Sho'Ah.. i grew up with these eras.. :)
How did I not get a notification from this, again incredible job and Kirk Douglas was a Hollywood legend who sadly was never honored with a Oscar. Passed away at 103 years old
Tim Conway was in a class all his own, a true comic legend
A few I never heard of as well still the only line that is hard to take "and that concludes our tour"
George Segal isn't sadly missed, at least not yet. As of March 8, 2021 he's still alive.
You cheated by deleting your reference to George Segal being "sadly missed," but HOW DID YOU KNOW??? He died today, March 23.
@@jamesclendon4811 I was at the time thinking of Christopher George however I had no idea that George Segal passed away today. At least I had the George correct just had the wrong one. On that note I hope they both Rest In Peace
I so love these videos and am glad to know someone loves visiting these folks, as I do. Just FYI: that pirate accent is actually a legitimate accent from the British West Country. They really do talk like that!
I really enjoy this series, the memories and the back stores make these the best
Another fascinating gem, Arthur. As always, Thank You - so much !
