I would like being able to have the choice depending on the sun. Sometimes on my Tesla the sun blinds me. I initially bought a device that slid in place but it wasn’t easy to put in. Found a sliding one and it’s nice to adjust it to open in front or back. Thus those in back seat can adjust as well as those in the front without bothering others.

The trailer has electric motors to assist in propulsion which will allow smaller trucks. I tow a trailer with an F-150. I’d go electric with this trailer. Even with my truck it would save gas. If it is the vehicle instead, you have to drive your RV around after you are at your destination.

I saw the new polydrop P21 trailer at Electrify Long Beach last weekend, was very impressed with it. They were able to get 1300w of solar on that thing using aptera tech, very impressive!
that said, i think a problem with Polydrop (and small trailer designers in general) is that they haven't yet taken into account the ways that EVs and Camp mode have fundamentally changed the car camping experience. If you have an electric SUV, like a Model Y, then you already have a great climate controlled, comfortable sleeping space. I don't think you need that duplicated in your lightweight trailer. Instead, I think the ideal trailer for a Model Y or similar car camping EV should be designed around providing a kitchen and a bathroom.
A P19 trailer, with the same weight and aero, but with the clamshell pop-up feature of the Lightship, so that it has 7' ceiling with a full dry bath, and a galley kitchen out of the back hatch--that would be the ideal EV car camping trailer. Just my two cents, based on my months of Model Y car camping
