My oldest son is in his early 20's and he has type 1 diabetes. But thank God for this piece of article ruclips.net/user/postUgkxVYhghKWmrUgXARZ_ydZTvmmcrw5L0I5i At first he thought he had the flu and was lying down on the bed for three days until his sister took him to the hospital. They took his blood and it was 600. What I do not understand is how he could have gotten it, since no one in the family has it. But he is winning the battle now. This is good stuff.

Hi my favorite food from this list and the others that l just like are Cantaloupe Sweet Potato and Yams and oranges carrots /and l also like the tea l haven't tried the Oolong tea but l do drink a lots of Green tea, with lemon and ginger fresh and l have for years now ACV Apple Cider Vinegar l've been using most of these foods for years now so l'm on the right track
I don't know how low your blood sugar will go after eating these food because there is sweetness in most of these food but l would play it very safe and l do already l will bake my sweet potato or yam and have a piece of the cantaloupe from time to time the AVC is good for you everyday just get yourself a metal straw to protect your teeth and those spices are good to use everyday.

I guess I never consider tea or vinegar as "food" but beyond those two there is nothing in this list that I have eaten for 5 years--too many carbs in every single one. One orange - 4-5 teaspoons of sugar. One cup of sweet potato is 10 teaspoons of sugar. A carb is a carb is a carb and your meter will prove that

They listed 17grams of carbs (read sugar). Way too much for one meal. And many oranges are larger and would have even more carbs. But you can safely divide the orange between two meals. I eat mandarin oranges, 12 carbs per orange. There are slowly digested carbs and fast digested carbs, oranges would be one of the fast carbs. There is some fiber (3g), but not enough to slow the digestion of the carbs to sugar. I try to limit carbs to 12g per meal. To avoid sugar craving, drop all products made with wheat, they all contain sugar/carbs. Portion fruits to fit into 12 carbs per meal, also portion starchy veggies, such as potatoes. Some people would rather give up fruits and veggies, I prefer to portion them. I divide potatoes and sweet potatoes between three meals. I eat one to two meals per day. I'm following keto and do intermittent fasting, but would rather have small portions of higher carb healthy foods than give them up.
