    Great video Jeff love your drone footage at least it was just dirt you flew the drone into and not a rock. Takes a lick and keep flying after you retrieve it from the top of the dirt pile. I have to agree I've watched other operators run dozers and black smoke going forward and back and they didn't maintain that machine. Nice to see it done your way stay safe Jeff.

    This video was like watching a horror film.
    If only rocks were spheroidal?
    Each rock probably up to a tonne plus a piece saying I ain’t going anywhere and digging themselves in for the contest x 100 of the blighters !
    Fantastic bit of video and perhaps now my new 2nd favourite over the runway build in the mountains which still remains my favourite.
    No other video you have made amplifies more the huge stresses and strains that welded fabrications on this sort of application are subjected to in real life than this one. Something has gotta give sooner or later???
    Sadly Mother Nature is more often than not the winner.
    Great bit of filming. Hope we see the the the finale to this job.

    I loved the story about Mr Griffy right at the end there. I've heard that if your dog is not good at coming when called, make a sound like you've been hurt, and lay on the ground, and your dog will come a running to save you. Is Mr Griffy enjoying the attention since the Queen died and everyone is talking about her corgis?

  • @ohhpaul7364
    @ohhpaul7364 Год назад +2

    Pushing shot rock like that is hard work, hard on the machine and hard on the operator. I watch Demolition Dave Blasting and Drilling and using the excavator is no better either, seen a number of ripped buckets. Even though it is broken up, you still have to free the pieces up and out of what was once solid rock. They don't break on a plane when you blast them either. So now you are stuck with rocks broken off a foot deep pushing against ones that are 3 feet deep and things just pop and crack and jar as they come out the ground. It looks like it is all just really rough work all over. End the day feeling like a milkshake or punching bag.
    thanks for the videos, Jeff.

We didn’t have a d9 but a 300 class excavator moves quite a bit of material with tearing the undercarriage up
