Somehow, the first weekend i spent exploring fontaine, i got one region to 100% and the other two to ~90%,,, and it didn't even feel like a chore! Unlike the later parts of sumeru (those endless deserts and hidden underground areas were. Well.) The underwater exploration is surprisingly fun as well! I say this as someone who recently played Abzû and i find so many parallels and am liking them all Also, i wasn't this excited to get a character ever since i set my sights on Albedo. It's Wriothesley. I'm so excited to meet him in the story srsly. Following the pre-release leaks has me dying in anticipation ahhhhhhhh!
I felt the exact same way about furina, she single handedly resurrected my interest in genshin even before the plot twist. no idea why ppl found her annoying lol
dude the plot twist was actually so good! like, i really dont like calling new things "the best", but i can confidently say this archon quest was THE BEST so far. like holy shit. i dont usually feel bad for characters in most videogames, or even in genshin impact for that matter, but furina's whole thing just shot through me like a fucking 9mm i kept telling myself when first playing the story, "its incredible how they keep finding ways to change up with every archon". for how cookie-cutter genshin's story seems to be when you first start, the weak initial premise and how boring mondstadt and sumeru felt sometimes, i dont even think this even feels like the same game. its genuinely such a well-crafted story, and i wish i could say that to other people and not get laughed at lol
@@maplecatstars ME TOO!! it sucks how genshin is notoriously viewed as cringe and poorly written at a surface level, because under all that hoyoverse REALLY knows what they're doing.
