Love this show....and have been lucky enough to have visited many of the real life locations...Including sitting on the swing Hitori is sitting on when Nijika first finds her......Taking a selfie with the statue by the steps where Hitori meets Kikuri....Sitting on the same wall the girls do and have an icecream like in Ep.9. As well as a tako senbei from the same vendor...And of course STARRY (real name SHELTER).....The wall with the mural on from Ep.4 is soon to be demolished so I have heard..So glad I got to see it before it's gone for ever.

Do you know that there is a Bocchi the Rock stage play? And you can watch it on youtube.. 3 and half hour long video... except the stage starts at around 33 minutes and the last 30 minutes is Bocchi interacting with the audience.

You have too much bass in your voice over, thus it makes it incredibly difficult to make out what you're saying. All relevant information about how to understand speech is between 250hz and 2500hz, they should be most prominent. You can use any available free Spectrum analyzer to see what the distribution is like, for example Voxengo SPAN. Keep making videos, but remember, audio is really important for the overall quality of a video. And it's not all about better gear, it's how to use that gear properly.

Good video! I personally think aside from the very high quality production and well, everything, the strength of bocchi the rock is just how bocchi is portrayed and how others percieve her. Like you say it is the little things that make all the difference here. The characters are cartoony and over the top but the things that are normally skipped over in shows like this aren't here, it gives each character a distinctly human feel and really helps the viewer get an understanding for how these characters interact with each other. I also think that this might be the single most relatable depiction of introversion for a main character in anime that I have seen, and it is honestly not close. Komisan, for example, has absolutely no relatability at all for me as nothing in that show feels 'real' to me, characters are over the top and generally annoying, the social anxiety of komisan (in context) doesn't feel legitimate, especially due to how others react to it and the set up is just generally stupid (IMO). Other, maybe less egregious, examples are usually over the top in their portrayal of isolation or ignore the potential effects isolation can have on a person. In bocchi the rock it doesn't just feel like she is introverted, gets friends and is suddenly an entirely different person. On that note the criticisms you mention other people having, which is a very small group to be fair, are kinda just wrong IMO. I know self indulgence and self pity is the life blood of the average anime fan but just because someone is pretty doesn't mean that they can't be an introvert or have a form of social anxiety and just because they have this does not mean they can't work on themselves and improve their situation. This idea that these type of things or jsut isolation in general being something that just happens to you instead of something that in part is your own responsibility is harmful and helps no one.The critique that it is unrealistic is disproportionate and unfair. If anything I would argue that for what it is the anime is remarkably realistic, there is nothing that happens in this show that couldn't happen in real life and I think the overall journe is very relatable for anyone that has a thing they care about and put effort into exploring it. Not sure if you have seen it but the more recent girls band cry is also a really good band anime for a different reason. That show doesn't have the super intriguing character interactions and build up but it does have very well written character drama and general struggle with emotions. I do think it suffers a bit from the aforementioned issues with the protrayal of isolation in anime, but it does everything in its power to deconstruct this idea by the end of the show, very good show definitely recommend.
