Deathmatch classic is really really fun. The game is a slightly more simple but that goes a long way. 8 weapons, 5 main maps, and a few power ups is all i really need. If any of you ever get the chance to play the game with friends on LAN, I highly recommend doing so. I watched this video mostly to get mad in the comments but you didn’t say anything that bad to be honest. The content is pretty good and well written. Good job man 👍
hey, thanks! both for the compliment and not crucifying me for the record, i also had fun in the brief hour or so i spent playing dmc, and truly i wish it was more than it is so i could talk more about it (or maybe not even include it in the video?) its the same feeling i had while playing ricochet, honestly. i think its a fun concept that can be executed better or in this case, already has. but since deathmatch classic retains the core "deathmatch" style which is pretty hard to fuck up, it ended up being the most fun game to play on the list
i had that idea, but i dont think alien swarm really flopped, more so it became adequately well-known for what it was it had and still has a sizeable community, received a fan-made sequel and has very positive reviews on both of them and plus its not factually dead as theres about 100 people or more playing every day if im not mistaken (see also: day of defeat)
