Since I started playing this game, for some reason it makes me happy to collect recipes. I don't have them all, but when I occasionally find them or buy them, I want to gain proficiency.
Mastering all recipes is something I do! I also make sure to get 1 suspicious and 1 normal version of each dish too. It's not hard at all if you just pace it out
please farm the archive, it would be so fun. I am doing it myself, I am also collecting every tcg card and skin, every furnishing blueprint and levelling every character to 90 with max talents (without crowning them, I can't get enough crowns for that)
Except the recipes (and probs the weapon archive too). As a completionist, they're infuriating simply bc there's special dishes from chars that you don't have, so you can't get them until you either get the chars or it's their bday

@@kulilu663 I do that to this day with all the items in the game. An hour long quest takes me three hours to do because I keep getting distracted by picking up everything I see.
The thing with the ores is that each location seems to have a few different spawn patterns depending on the day. So some days an area might have lots of the blue or and another day it will only have iron chunks. Learned that back in the 1.0 days when me and my friends would ore farm every day for months on end
is not a seems it is an actual thing in the game, ore rotation is tied to the gold ley line, in mondstat for example if the gold ley line is in dvalin's lair, all the ores will spawn in that area and the rest of mondstat will have the regular amount of ore is not rng, the ores will spawn in the same spot every day according to the location of the gold ley line
Today it's possible to get enough rocks through expeditions and doing the underwater segments of Fontaine and the Chasm, it's enough rocks for 3 days or so and they respawn every 3 days.
Can't be 1.0, bc magic crystals didn't exist in 1.0. The only variation in ore spawn is where the magic crystals spawn in every day. There was a bug though where some resources didn't spawn in properly the next day after collecting them, that could be what you noticed
Some ones I’ve done/am working on/plan to do : - master every recipe + cook every kind of dish (suspicious, normal, delicious) characters you don’t have and event exclusives don’t count - collect every spincrystal - complete the archive (get every book, fight every enemy, catch every catchable animal and kill the rest, get every viewpoint, unlock every tutorial, get every weapon minus gacha exclusives, get one of every artifact of each rarity it comes in, get one of every item in the game minus event exclusives) - complete every quest - max friendship with every character - collect every oculus including bonus ones
I cannot believe you went around to farm all the ores. Oh my god. The pain. But honestly I wish I could have the patience to gather all those resources. And the walking challenge from monstadt to natlan, I’m not surprised you gave up on it. I cannot describe the frustration I felt through the screen of pointlessly walking with a level 1 character only to start all over! 😭 I think the teapot was a nice surprise though! I didn’t know they even added those quick features! Now I’m gonna have to try to give my teapot a makeover. It’s kinda a mess cluster just like yours was. Also ps you forgot to link the replicas! I didn’t even know that you could replicate other’s uhh layouts.
Idk if you said this in the video since I haven’t finished it but ninnguang has a passive that shows ore around the area and was a big help to find ore for me to make weapons
Archive farming is great, I can honestly recommend it - after 4 years of playing it turns out there are still random tidbits in the Liyue wilderness that I haven't gotten, but are super satisfying to find, so absolutely go for it ^^
farming the archive would be really cool... every animal, enemy, view point etc I love these challenges because they're things I want to do on my account but can't so I get satisfaction watching you do them ALSO STREAMS RETURN WHEN
Everyone talking about farming the archive makes me feel like a crazy person bc I have already done that for everywhere but Natlan 😅 I am a completionist tho so I’ve also done map completion, achievement farming, friendship farming etc. That’s where my enjoyment comes from

Based on my current pace, I'll finish levelling everything (weapons and characters including 9/9/9 talents) within this next year, it's a long term project so if you hadn't started on this already it will take a while before you do. Each new character is essentially another 20 days of farming so that can delay things a lot. If you are a whale and max resin refresh you can cut down the time by about 1/3rd though
i swear my own brain turned into pebbles watching the ore part D: i'm a collectionist - it was not only painful watching you not use Ning but the fact that every 2-3 mins you were cursing the map pins about the magical chunks was making me wheeze laugh. FYI the magical chunks rotate every day and respawn every 72 hours. You can ask the blacksmiths and a few other NPCs about 'interesting items' or 'local ore resources' and they'll mark which ore veins have the magical chunks for that day but there's always one or two other veins that have them too. So technically the map is correct it just doesn't do the daily rotation, rather it marks ALL the possible spawn points. I farm every possible vein once a week so I have them all marked so I feel your pain - trust me when I say Ning would've made this SO much easier but I truly respect the dedication my dude lol
No fr you should try to have 1 of each food items (counting suspicious/normal/delicious) and/or maxing all their proficiency. It took me a month to collect all ingredients, but it's so worth it seeing them all in the inventory, also Hu Tao/Ayato would help because of their passive giving extra suspicious dish whenever you cook a delicious. Recipes are another story, unless you already have the commission locked ones since the rest can just buy from shops
Every region shows 100% exploration rate even tho there are chest remains in the area, i hope u can clear all the missing chest from every region. I hope u can do.
From personal experience (as someone who obsessively opens every single chest and claims all Mora containers + other collectibles), I can say that if the map shows 100% exploration, you're generally somewhere between 80 and 90% done with *all* chests (and Mora containers) in the area. Some areas have far more surplus than others, but normally, there is quite a lot left over. ... so yeah, him cleaning up all those leftovers would be nice for us to see. He'd probably become a little frustrated at some points, though xD

So I don't know if they actively raise the percentage there. But I'd collect them even if they didn't contribute anything anyway, as that's just what I do xD
So it might be better to do the walking thing in coop because i believe while in coop (probably on someone else's world at least) surprise enemies don't spawn
OOOOH you should do what I've been doing for the last few weeks while waiting for the whole Natlan expansion to come out - hitting every single mora rock/wooden crate as well as interaction reward! just a resinless way to passively get mora, elemental shards, exp books and other random items and food! A tip for it would be to start in the cities and towns and work your way out to avoid too much teleportation or running around.
your videos encouraged me to 100% every region, but a lot like you I often run into surprise chests/challenges/puzzles in excess of the 100% hah... I wish Mihoyo would add in a gradient color scale to tell me if the 100% was legit 100% or just close.

the reason y most of the crystals werent correct was because they often change when they reload so if you take a chunk of ores then when they respawn theyre different ones
Man it took me 30 min to run from Lyue city to Natlan when I used my alt acc for ez wins against Natlan legends ( I havent used that acc since 1.2) The reason was that its AR 21 and I didnt wanted to block someone for an hour
Just curious do you have a Ninguang and Zhongli? Cuz one of them instant breaks ores and the other one shows the locations of all ores so would have saved you 20 minutes of multiatacks...
This is what i am doing for my account: -Level every character to 80 (or 90 if you have the resources) -Level all character’s talents to 6 (minimum) -Level all character’s talents to 9 (we don’t waste crowns in this household) -Level all weapons to 90 -Level all equipped artifacts to 20
I think that crane you found at 20:32 or so was from Cloud Retainer's story quest. That part about her completing some kind of training reminded me of it.
Cooking one of each recipe isn't that hard... If you don't have every character then you may have to wait for a couple birthdays, but overall it's pretty easy. I do this already through just the 20 weekly ones. Currently going through Fontaine recipes, but if I wanted could easily catch up to Natlan in just an hour or so.

Magical Ore only spawns in the area where Ley Lines are active, such as the Mora or EXP Ley lines.
