Why is there a discrepancy in the fighters used after season 2? First combat we see is Arc-170, then it's the Z-95 headhunter up until the battle of Lola Sayu. Then through 4 and 5 it's back with the headhunter up until season 6. Was s3 the part of the war where they were testing the Arc?
@somethingsomethingelse7706 also too much resources was needed to design the clear Helmut pilot suites as the ones used in the arc 170s so they went back to a fighter with no onboard life support
I think you got some ship names mixed up. I can't help myself though, so I gotta list all the fighters and their in universe debuts. First, there was the V-19 Torrent starfighter, introduced in the Clone Wars movie. Then, in Season 1 Episode 3, "Shadow of Malevolence," we were introduced to the Y-Wing, which would be used throughout the entire show, because the Y-Wing is a very good bomber. Even the Rebel Alliance used it. Then In Season 2 Episode 18 "Zillo Beast,", we got the ARC-170. Though you are right, it was the main fighter until Lola Sayu. V-19's did show up in some battles, but the ARC-170 still took its spotlight. The V-19 was just too big, making it an easy target. Note: the ARC was also in Season 3 Ep 2 "Arc Troopers" at the Battle of Kamino. Canonically, I think that takes place after "Rookies" (S1Ep5), meaning it was used much earlier than Season 2. In the Battle of Umbara (S4 Ep7-10), we got the Z-95 Headhunter, which kinda took the ARC-170's place for the rest of the show. Though the ARC was still used for battles like Anaxes. The V-19, though, pretty much got fazed out. The reason why Z-95's got introduced was to replace the V-19 entirely, as a single seat starfighter. ARC-170s are multi-purpose fighters, but require 3 clones to use, making them more expensive. As for Jedi starfighters, the Delta 7 was around for the entire show pretty much. The ETA 2 didn't show up until Season 5 Episode 17 "Sabotage" in the Battle of Cato Nemodia. It's the beginning of the Ahsoka prison arc. There's only one Republic starfighter that never shows up in this show: the V-Wing. It was used in Episode 3, and later the Bad Batch. This kind of makes sense, as this starfighter represents the Republic becoming the Empire. All in all, this kind of shows progression in the Republic strategy. They started with the V-19 and the Y-Wing, but seeing that the V-19 was too big of a target and couldn't really offer any other advantages, they branched out into 2 new fighters: the multi-purpose ARC-170 and the Z-95 Headhunter (both would be the predecessor of the X-Wing). Then, opting for fighters that sound like TIE Fighters 😂, they began using ETA 2's and V-Wings trying to get rid of everything else.
@@mandaloreCZ Well, on the other hand, there was much less chatter, and now looking at it, you are no longer interested in watching it. We need interesting fights in Star Wars, and not only ground fights, but space fights, too, and more of them, not chatter.
Shielding is always a thing it's just with concentrated fire power it will go down Or shields were not up before getting ambushed Shields up at all times is just a drain on power that just makes them have to leave refuel faster
Honestly, I’d watch a series of just endless space combat from any era of Star Wars.
Have you seen the CG short film, “Hunted” ?
This feels like a diiferent series. This is more like if the Clone wars is a bit more naval themed.
More Space battleship Yamato!
@@mateusfelipecardoso40kview3 you
Honestly, I would be so down for a more naval centric series
damn this new empire at war update looks sick af
The republic really using those arquitens so poorly it pains me😭
Cruel AI mode was on.
I really should rewatch this show.
I was just thinking that myself! It’s all streaming now….
Lol anakin definitely learned to deal with the buzz droid missiles after this

Both ships were used at the same time want heavy fire power send in the arc-170 need a quick fighter to engage sepratist fighters take the Z-95

I just love when it's the droids that win the battle, i don't know why. Maybe it's because i'm so accoutumed to see the clones win 😅
Hopefully we get a Thrawn series after Ahsoka which has a bigger focus on space battles with Thrawn being a big part of it
I'm looking forward to the battle of scipio
Um....is that a UFO? Like a fucking UFO you see in 50s Sci-fi movies?

I've watched the Clone Wars a couple times, and I only remember like 2 of these battles lmao
Back when Netflix still hosted the show.
Me encanta la nave q se parece a la tantive 4 donde viaja ashoka que es atacada por los piratas, creo que esa nave iba a ser el halcon milenario

Yes this true. Only in season 1 have more battles than others seasons.
