This entire movie is so close to my heart. Nobody really realizes the symbolism in this movie they just see it as a crazy fighting movie. Think about it... he was civil, nice, respectful and normal... he was done so wrong, he was made into an unstoppable force of pure rage and hatred. Think about how much is thrown at him and he simply does not stop and cannot be stopped
It has a lot to say about society and how you’ll get thrown into the meat grinder and forgotten about and you’re perspective won’t ever be considered. This film was a lot smarter than I ever thought it was gonna be.

After this clip I watched Avengement on Netflix. Adkins is a good actor. Fairly simple story but the fight scenes were all well coreographed. 90 minutes well spent.
Absolutely the best bar fight ever. Well, may be along with bar fight scene in Punisher: season 2 Netflix. In this film Scott is embodiment of noble hatred. Pure, distilled rage in right direction. I also love how his almost every victim is killed with his own weapon. You tried to stab him with knife? You stabbed yourself. Tried to hit him with broken bottle? You die from stabs of broken bottle. Hit him with crowbar? Etc...
It's unrealistic. The guy in the green sweater is unconscious laying on the floor @ 1:50 & Scott delivers 4 hard swinging blows to his head. Then later, he's back in the fight. No way can a human head survive that.
apparently this entire fight scene was filmed in only two days, the stunt coordinator on it was on a stuntmen react series episode with corridor and said the only reason it came out so well in such a short time is because Scott Adkins is just a machine with so much energy
The reason why he isn’t as big as he deserves is because he refuses to lick up to the “status quo” of acting. He’s straight forward and people don’t like that. Sad but true. One of the best actors of our times. 🌹
No those type of movies he makes just aren't that big anymore. Martial arts actors isn't a big thing anymore. Had he been around in the 80's and 90's he would have been a big star.
