- It's 10 subgeners of black, not all of them. 10 is a nice round number so i'll stick to it.
Bit out of sync. Exported was fine. And you tube messed with it a bit.. tried to upload it with fixed out of sync parts and it was even worse. But idea is here.
If you think of some sub-genre in black that i didn't put in this video, be sure to comment, maybe i'll put that one in my next vid.
Songs in this video are in style of bands i listen to. So if you don't think they sound like certain subgenre don't bitch about it

Atmospheric black metal is my favourite sub genre. I like to walk to the woods outside of town, sit amongst the trees and listen to it, combined with the crackles of the trees, singing of the birds and roar from the winds, whispering through the oaks.
There is a beauty in darkness.

Have you heard of abruptum? Ever listen to the Les Legions bands? Nortt is also good, it's like funeral doom/atmospheric bm. Nortt is very good imo if you like dark atmosphere. Les legions noires also has some really raw and atmospheric stuff. Like mütiilation, peste noire, dzlvarv, satanicum tenebrae Brenoritvrezorkre, vlad tepes, torgeist, belathazur, seviss, and so on and so forth.
DSBM, Atmospheric and Symphonic are my favorite. When it comes to fusion genres, I really like blackgaze.

Your video shows exactly why I'll be a black metal fan until my death. Black metal never gets boring, because it's so multifarious and diverse. Even if I spent a whole year listening to Black Metal, there are still so many different bands I can discover.

All early black metal artists were huge fans of industrial, dungeon synth, dark ambient etc.
Those sweeps during the melodic bm part were really awesome and fit in perfectly. Also, nice job overall!

I get inspired by it to a degree, it has some unique aesthetics and because of that I personally find DSBM a fascinating sub-genre of black metal.
I like every sub-genre of black metal, I just love the sound of black metal in general mixed with anything.

Atmospheric Black Metal sounds like Nostalgie, search Nostalgie - Dead Memory, Black/Punk sounds to some songs of the early Burzum and Darkthrone or Poison Raw, pretty similar, this was brutal, greetings from Argentina Zimorog.

I always thought crust punk was like a primitive and stripped down version of black metal. just personal opinion of course.
other way around...BM starting taking cues from punk in general. My friends used to think "Live in Leipzig" was done by a sloppy hc punk band.
Endless Disease is a great example of crust black metal.
