Thrash Metal (0:34): Sick intro of the main protagonists. Death Metal (1:03): Entering the first boss room/Fighting the first boss, who's actually pretty tough. Black Metal (1:30): Finally beating that boss only to find out that there are like 20 more bosses and they all laugh at the first one for being as weak as he is. Doom Metal (2:00): Introduction of the badass (usually edgy) anti-hero character that has the same goal as the heroes, but fights with them because of a conflict in morality. Gothic Metal (3:03): Mentioned badass anti-hero character joins your team to fight the next few bosses. He likely becomes your favorite in the party because of his personality and damage potential. Industrial Metal (3:33): Factory/Warehouse level that everybody complains about because the level layout is like a goddamn maze. Power Metal (3:48): Heroes get an upgrade to their powers/equipment that gives them an edge in the fight/Main Hero gets a last minute super-boost against the boss that concludes in a super awesome moment. Folk Metal (4:26): Everybody's favorite town to go to. Some players love the NPCs so much that they make that town a home base of sorts. Grindcore (4:46): That one boss...you know the one. That cheap boss that spikes the difficulty up by 11 for no reason that takes you like 2 days to beat. Yeah....we all hate that guy too. Progressive Metal (4:56): Anti-Hero comes back with his own gang of similarly, but not quite as cool teammates of his own. Likely after this song goes on, you're gonna have to fight them. (5:23)Yeah...you have to fight them. Good Luck. Neoclassical Metal (5:35): Wow....his team is actually hard to beat. Like really hard. They're not hard like the Grindcore boss, because that guy was obviously cheating...but you actually need to sit up right in your chair to get enough focus. Symphonic Metal (5:47): First fight with the final boss. This guy is the reason that your team and the Anti-Hero's team set aside your rivalry and join forces. Some time into that fight (6:09), somebody dies (like cutscene death, there's no coming back from that). Most likely a fan-beloved character to drive the point home that this last guy is nothing to play around with. Alternative Metal (7:03): You and all the characters are heated over the loss of the character(s). It's time to grind up for the final boss with a newfound urge to get revenge. Groove Metal (7:38): The final boss. He's the perfect difficulty that doesn't make you feel that he's unfair (may have a few cheap moves in there, but you're high level enough to survive a couple), but he's not weak enough to make you feel like that character(s)'s death was pointless. Congratulations. You beat the game.

educational video: an almost serious guide for the newbie and a funny refresher for the veterans. the music is "original". basically rip-offs of the bands, for the sake of the video. to underline the differences between the genres I've changed sounds almost everytime I changed style. so if your friend still claims that metal sounds the same, don't blame him ... he's just deaf. thanks to Lee, Andriy, Rob and Claudia for sharing their talents with us (you'll find the link of their channel in the description). cheers from naples, enjoy the freakshow
