One of Phillies favorite sons, epic friendship and mutual respect There will always be a special place in our hearts for what him and his wife has done for Philadelphia, on and off the field
Man, I’ll be honest, I shed a tear. I was there when he took Strider deep in the playoffs and slammed that bat. We erupted and Rhys put us on cloud nine. All those years, Rhys was the guy we came to see then it almost happened in 2022. Rhys thank you for all those years you gave us phans in Philly. Forever a Phillie!!!!
Rhys was just great. I think he should still be a Phillie, but Schwarber has to be DH and Bryce is a better defensive first base man. He is a consummate professional and competitor.
@julianc6863 lol you are the ones that's delusional. First of all, we do have power with righties, they are just slumping with power right now. But we don't need power when we have the best hitter in the MLB with RISP in Bohm. We also have JT who constantly gets on base and has some of the best opposite field power on the team. To trade for a guy we let go instead of paying just to get an average obp with power and sub par fielding would be a HUGE mistake. I understand if you miss him, I do too, but trading for him would be dumb
Mets fan here. I really respect the guy. He's so lovable and he got the best welcome home I could imagine. Good for him

He is a Phorever Phillie, and he will return someday, in some form. I loved seeing him do well tonight.
What a class act!! He may not be the best player but I'm sure he's the glue that can hold a team together in tough times!
Rhys is a great and TRUE class act❤❤

Class and missed.
Only hitting 220 this year. Not good enough for first base, especially with his terrible defense
Phillies need him baxk cauze they have zero home run power from righr side. Trade for Hoskins put Schwarber baxk in left field
This is why you aren't a GM

Rhys won’t be leaving Milwaukee for at least four years. Just a prediction. He’s a good fit for the Crew.
