I own a 2021 ASV 135. It is not the forestry version but still has the Cummins 132 horsepower and all the bells and whistles you can get. I paid just over $115,000 for it and it is worth every penny.I do landscaping and snow removal and this machine is a beast!! Nothing will slow it down. The best CTL you can buy in my book.
Disagree with Zizo's comment below. I took delivery of an ASV 75HD last Sept and run a Mastodon M60F mulcher on it. 200 hours in and I love this machine. In Sept temps hit 94 here and the cooling system on this machine is great. Engine temps steady at 190 and hydraulics never red lined. With winter temps engine was 170 all day with high flow cranking. It is still early days, but I work it hard and it responds well. ASV's are pricey, but they are optimized for forestry work and if that's your application they are well worth it. I think their Terex connection ended back in 2015. Yanmar recently bought. ASV. Don't know if they will switch from Cummins engines to Yanmar anytime soon, but mfg quality is high.
When it comes to going places ASV is the best machine for the task, their track system is the best on the market, thats why their CTL’s will go places the competition can only dream about.
All comments coming in here, talking about things that break. I'm old school. The era of when Case & JD made there family of small Dozer/Loader. The Case 450 & 850-C were very Fast. The ( T) handle on the JD 450 was ahead of it's time. JD put that (T) handle on there line of graders for mold board. The International 125s were built heavy duty. And a security system for Lockout was best on market. Just saying all this as these Skid steers are the Replacement for the former small line of heavy duty Loaders &Dozers. These machines are filling that notch in market NOW.
I agree in relation to power but servicing and breakdowns are the worst. Bobcat skid steer with remote controls all while outside the machine blows the competition away
I can tell you the cat planer is a pile of crap. Cat have messed up the valve block and will not fix it. They will abandon you with a planer that's not fit for purpose

Is that what you paid new or used?
@@devinporter6238 It was a demo. It only had 18 hours on it. They're in short supply right now too.
Does that include the bent axles they are famous for.
Just received our ASV135F today and holly shit! This thing is a frickin TANK! $140k and worth all of it!

Too bad they can’t keep their axles from breaking and bending or the tensioner from snapping in half.

Will take the cat all day long. All nice though.
Why nothing about a bobcat t870
TOP FIVE MOST POWERFUL.
Bobcat didn't make the cut. Maybe they're #6.
Couldn't put a JCB on the list?
Side door entry alone is the best
Hi Jim. All of the machines in our list are 100hp and up. JCB has less. Even with its side door this woudn't have been a fair comparison
Jcb is junk , demoed tire machine wouldn't turn on asphalt in 2 speed , joysticks control unpredictable

Asv isn,t the best, just a terex copy i thing… it’s just a presentation machine, not to work..
There are good and there are bad, ASV is above good, but there’s always room for more improvements.
@@bluethunder1951 like making axles that don’t bend and break.
