      @@TechCheckUK Question, I have corsair vengence RGB DDR5 ram and I am worried about clearance with a AIO up top?

    • @TechCheckUK
      @TechCheckUK  6 месяцев назад

      @DLENNON93 u will be fin3 mate as long as standard 240/280 thick AIO were u have to be carefull is when using a arctic or same as me as they are thicker so u need low profile ram - good luck mate 👍

      Thanks mate 👍 yeah that would have been the perfect choice 👌 unfortunately black and gold are quite custom and not many companies make them readily available like easy diy etc - I appreciate u watching mate 😀

    I got the North XL 2 weeks ago as well, paired with the same cooler you're using but the 360mm variant on top as exhaust for my 13700k. The case is really nice, keeps all my components very cool and is quiet, my undervolted 4090 rarely goes above 60c under load. I am however considering doing what you did and change out the front 140mm fans that come with the case, and put in the T30's. They're so goddamn nice, quiet and move a ton of air.
    Question, why did you use a spacer when putting on the stand-offs for the cpu cooler?

    • @TechCheckUK
      @TechCheckUK  8 месяцев назад +1

      Because I was using an older cpu 11th gen and the IHS on cpu sits lower than newer cpus that's all mate 👍 glad u like the case and the t30s are great.

    • @vedomedo
      @vedomedo 8 месяцев назад +1

      @@TechCheckUK Ah makes sense! How is the clearance for the T30's in front though? I heard the mesh is right up against them?`
      Oh and crazy what I learned from watching this vid, I had no idea you could take of the cover on the AIO pump/block. I was struggling like crazy to get the screws on because it's so big. This is obviously a way smarter way of doing it.
      EDIT: I see what the difference is, I got the v2 of the glacier one T30, so the pump cap is not the same. Mine can't be fully taken off.

      @vedomedo yeah mesh is pretty close but does not affect performance or noise which is great.
      Yeah AIO faceplate is removable and this is why I love making videos and trying to help and make it easier. I appreciate you taking time to watch and comment - thank u

    Nice biuld but your cooler tubes need to be at the bottom or your just going to be pushing air bubbles.

    • @TechCheckUK
      @TechCheckUK  9 месяцев назад +2

      Absolutely fine this way never had 1 issue with over 400 builds over past 3 years mate - thanks for watching I appreciate it

      @@TechCheckUK Your choice buddie but i would not put a cooler tubes up.

    • @TechCheckUK
      @TechCheckUK  9 месяцев назад +1

      @MartinParkes it's all personal preference mate 👍 tbh as long as the inlets are higher than cpu it's all perfectly fine - air if any will gather there and not at cpu
