Finally someone who actually knows how to show and tell people how to build. Dont even ahve to know anything about a computer to understand the way you presented everything. Good job
We need an XXL, whatever they want to call it - the 011D Evo XL is bigger than the 011D XL even though the EVO alone should not really cause that, they realized they still needed a bigger version is just made the EVO version bigger - the North XL needs something similar - the lack of support for two simultaneous 420's (with technically 480 at once in the top and/or front) would be awesome, and they did that twice already with the meshify 2 xl and that other case that is mostly the same that came before it.
I am from bangladesh I try to find such videos which can explain the whole pc building process in a detailed yet not boring way.. but i can't a lots of first person pov type of videos are out there but its difficult for people like me (who doesn't speak English so often) to understand their accent and when i try to turn on the caption i find myself missing out those plug-ins .. but your accent is so much clear and not boring too..💟
What would you recommend for a silent build? No AIO for me, but the case has to be fairly silent. Today I use an older Fractal Design Define R5 that I really like.
Thank you for the video! I've got a nearly identical build planned if prices are good for prime day next week so this was super handy. Excellent quality build video, well done!
The case grill reminds me of the furniture that had our TVs and HI FI Stereos embedded into back in the last century. Those TVs were not portable at all weighing in over 100lb ( 45Kg )
Are the fractal fans just as loud on your case? I'm thinking about replacing mine for noctua ones or something because I find the fractal case fans can get really loud.
I absolutely adore this case.....but I don't think it's big enough for me. I've got (now) 4 SATA drives to plug and power (was 5, but my new mobo only had four SATA ports!), an AIO, Corsair RGB fans and LianLi RGB fans. My P500A is jam packed. Cable management is stress inducing.
I have the non-XL of this case, but with the mesh sides, since I do not particularly like the glass myself. I felt the lack of space for sure, but figured since I have minimal space available, the non-XL would look better on my desk. Having watched your video, I am starting to reconsider that choice :) Excellent work! #subbed
Amazing build! Am also about to build my North XL build soon. May I ask, the first track in your video, whats the name? :) Thank you and keep going with this amazing work!
you said you made a mistake with plugging the pump cables. did you end up fixing it? how did you do it? i'm asking just because i'm planning to put and aio on top as well. thanks
I plugged the fans into the motherboard instead of the aio. Is that what you're referring to? I unplugged the fans fron the motherboard and plugged them into the aio
I bought that same case for my recent build and unfortunately Amazon delayed my delivery forcing me to buy a Corsair 4000D Airflow locally due to time contstraints... Had to send the North back :(
Didn't want to wait for the 9800x3d either. I just jumped in on a Canada Computers 7800x3d + Gigabyte X670 + RAM combo deal. Had to go with the North XL case, which brought me here. Great video!
Nice build, I have a very similar once coming in the mail and I'll leave another comment when I get all the parts in for assembly. Fractal North XL, but my specs are a step lower than yours. 7900 XT, 7500f processor (7600 with no integrated graphics that you can get for $120, crazy good deal), air cooled with a cheaper motherboard. $1500 flat on pcpartpicker cause I got the samsung pro 990 2tb SSD (the GOAT), your exact memory if I'm not mistaken, and an 850W psu which is 300W overkill at least but I want headroom since the 7900XT is very easily overclockable for more performance.
no 9800x3d wont be blowing this 7800x3d yet, only 5-8% performance increase with higher tdp. This is still the king and I hope the price will be going down
I really dislike the dragon on MSI products :) But I got u .. I feel the same with the AS Rock Taichi B650 E.. I absolutly don't need the features of the board, but I really LOVE the looks (It would be perfect for the north btw)
Dude 1.99k Subs! Lets GOOOOOO! Great job Bro. I have that exact same PSU. Same 7800x3d. My XFX RX 7900xt will be here tomorrow replacing A Asrock RX 6750 xt. Im using Gskill TridentZ5 RGB 6000 32GB ram. Love the build videos like always. Cant wait to see whats next!
Thanks for the ongoing support man. Was going to do a 2500d build but I just ordered a sup01 to try out and deepcool is sending me their morpheus case and mystique aio to have in a video. Next couple of videos will be fun.
@@Renegade_Rabryn That Mystique AIO is on my radar. When you do the video, please give an honest review of the cooler. I want to know your true thoughts on it. I want to go DC Mystique or the Arctic Liquid 3. My current cooler is the LT720 from Deepcool. No issues at all.
Amazing video, you can see the effort put into creating this vid but i noticed that you used ripjaws s5 instead of their x5 variant which offers amd expo but it should make that much of a difference. edit: no hate and please keeping on make these quality videos.
@@ItsRopemaybe for an air cooler. Doesn’t make sense to install the pump outside the case, then fit the Mobo inside with the tubes in the way. The only reason you install the air cooler outside the case anyways is for accessibility
I’ve got a North XL sitting on my desk empty waiting for me to buy parts. This might be just what i needed to get me motivated to finally build it
What parts are you thinking of using?
Finally someone who actually knows how to show and tell people how to build. Dont even ahve to know anything about a computer to understand the way you presented everything. Good job
Love the music you used for the video. I'm planning on buying this case, huge fan

Here's to hoping for a XXL 🙏
Let’s call the XXXXXL Fractal Design North Fridge.
Don't need to remove thermal pad on m.2 drive if it's a one sided drive. If it has stuff on both sides on m.2 then you need to peel bottom also.
NIcely done, Im in love with that case.
Deadly video man. You have become my fav builder on yt.
I'm about to assemble mine. Great video, very helpful. Great voice. You're very good at this, you should do those vids more often.
I got the mesh panel variant of the XL and I love it

Nah, every case comes with this little guy who lives in the psu shroud that constantly sings the lyrics for gin & juice.
NH-D15 or something with 140mm fans
Nactua air cooler

Finally!!! somebody using a build with my GPU
This case has a weird airflow. No exhaust?
Awesome build thanks for sharing love the detailed in the video and the commentary
You bet
Amazing music style! Exactly the type of music i listen to
Amazing build! Am also about to build my North XL build soon. May I ask, the first track in your video, whats the name? :) Thank you and keep going with this amazing work!

Didn't wait 5 months for the 9800x3D
Just finished my North XL build as well though I went with an all white build. 7800X3D and 4070TI Super with the same exact SSD.
What games you playin' with that Thang??
I bought that same case for my recent build and unfortunately Amazon delayed my delivery forcing me to buy a Corsair 4000D Airflow locally due to time contstraints... Had to send the North back :(
😔
❤ at this rate, this channel is gonna boom soon.
Does the aio serve as an exhaust or intake in this build ?
Nice details how to build, much appreciated.
thanks alot this helped me build this case very easily. is it okay to not have an exhaust fan?
I didn't like that wood at first but damn that case looks nice!
Same. it grows on you.
How is the noise level when doing simple office work and when gaming?
The XFX is my favorite GPU design. Would you say that one downside of an XL case is the need for extension cables?
Nah you don't need any. This case isn't really even an XL. It's still a midtower.
Didn't want to wait for the 9800x3d either. I just jumped in on a Canada Computers 7800x3d + Gigabyte X670 + RAM combo deal. Had to go with the North XL case, which brought me here. Great video!

Good computer setup but really bad choice of taste for the GPU cables...
You can put 3 120mm on top or 2 140mm? Is that correct?
I really dislike the dragon on MSI products :)

Can you build in the FormD T1
Can't find it anywhere

Love the video
Sad it didn't have room for 420 rad in the top. You wouldn't so when it has XL in the name but no ;D
Wrong it's "From Ryzen"
good
thats how you dont install a cpu cooler
Can you expand?
Nope that’s one of the best ways to attach an aio cooler. Watch gamer nexus or jaytwocents to learn about their placements
You install it on the mobo first, then you install the mobo and then the radiator
@@ItsRopemaybe for an air cooler. Doesn’t make sense to install the pump outside the case, then fit the Mobo inside with the tubes in the way.

@@henry3397 well it does because you don’t want to put strain on the motherboard. But agree to disagree then
I got tears! 🥲
