I grew up in San Rafael in the 90s and now live in Petaluma, just blocks away from most of these scene locations. Thank you for making such a thorough video covering so many iconic scenes in one of my (and many others') favorite movies. Walking through my downtown will feel different after seeing your videos.

Great video. Not in the video was the race at the end that took place on Frates Rd., on the south end of Petaluma. One side of the road is still farmland (where Falfa crashed) and looks exactly the same today!
The only faux pas I saw was that you used the map for Petaluna High school to show where the "inside the gym" scene was, whereas that was supposed to be at Tamalpais High Shool in Mill Valley..........other than that, great work by you! I like to find things on Googlemaps when watching things like this, as I did with this video....to see what it looks like today. Good stuff...thanks for your efforts!
funny not one scene from this Great American movie was filmed in the city where the story actually took place, Modesto,Calif named for Modesty .. lmao probably best that it wasn't.. cause Modesto is a real trash/crap hole city..now, but back in the Old days it was a pretty cool place to grow up.

I live in rohnert park I lived on 6th street in Petaluma when this came out My friends and I use to go cruising on Petaluma blvd in our muscle cars after this movie came out I love the west side of Petaluma Great times back then

@@tedthompson7770 Modesto celebrates American Graffiti Day once a year in June when people cruise the main street. Does Petaluma have such an event.

kdm71291 just a small mix up, the dance was inside Petaluma high, and the outside was THS (was at the dance)
