I am at a really f'ed up period in my life and decided to turn things around. I am tired, lost and frustrated but also pissed at a degree not even i could imagine but the good thing is that when i am pissed my motivation also goes on hulk mode. I just downloaded the template as a first step and it looks like i don't have many worthy stuff to put in it especially considering how late i am to be starting this. Looks like i have to sit down and work on different ideas, designs etc. not because it is needed for education or business but just so i can have something to show. Maybe work on a few softwares which i haven't used before and add them in there. I will need a lot of guidence and support for sure but i know it is silly to expect too much from someone who is busy and just trying to help out. I will follow your videos and am sure the information you are sharing will help to a degree. Thanks for the tips and sharing the template 👍

I'm not an architect, but a mechanical engineer. It's interesting to see how other disciplines in the design field go about doing the same thing in a different way. Like you said, LEED is so important, and not just for architects, but for civil engineers as well: air ducting, water usage/insulation, pump/chiller efficiencies, etc.

I'm finishing my Interior and Spatial Design degree and I was losing motivation to keep up the hard work for a number of reasons... You're a huge help and motivator to keep going, thank you for your work and your dedication.
I like how you just take a few concepts, broadly explaining the way to go about them and then provide visual references to understand what you mean by that. I'm baffled by the amount of people (of professionals!) that will talk about something (e.g. my Portfolio class professor) and then provide you either a flimsy .ppt - or just nothing - to help you visualise it and learn how to do it yourself. But then they expect a beautiful InDesign layout as a result because, like you said, it has become an industry standard!
I wish traditional educating institutions would hire competent teachers with the skills they require their graduates to have at the end of their studies. I understood more about portfolios from your 20min video on YT than in 4 months of Portfolio class ❤

Thank you so much. I felt so lost and this video honestly made me come back to the track. I have been rejected from all the places that I apply. I hope if I follow this video I can improve so much. Thank you again

I just graduated, and I feel like I'm starting at -12.
I followed a lot of your videos, more for entertainment, during school. I put off videos like this because I thought I'd get around to it when I needed it, and MY GOSH I need it.
I'm just getting started in my professional career but it was easy to get into a funk about not moving forward, but this video kinda sparked hope back into me. Thank you!

Thanks so much for going through this so simply. I’m an interior designer in the process of revamping my portfolio and this really helped me reconsider some choices I’ve been making haha.

Thank you, Dami for sharing. I am already inspired to move faster, with new ideas, about upgrading my portfolio's version. It has been a matter of time and learning new software, etc. which I am happy I did... ... from hand sketches/ drawings to new software. I have proved myself: "No matter our age/ generation, instead how motivated are we to keep us updated for...". That has been my key! Thank you so much for all the tools and your great sharing attitude.. 🥰♻️
