I think Barack demonstrated why he's a better politician than Michelle. He hit Trump with the sore loser stuff while Michelle dipped into race politics which Kamala has been relatively disciplined about avoiding.
The Democrat Party looks like America, the Republican Party looks like a restricted country club. I can tell that you both aren’t used to so much diversity. Every age and race is represented. The RNC is homogeneous

You guys are the best in the business. Maybe I’m overwhelmed by a Lewisian fervor for the Kamala DNC, or the “autumnal” conditions, but figured I’d share something positive. Both of you should attend a third party convention or top state party event and see what happens. Good with the job hunt.

One thing I think that is tricky to deal with is, Walz says something that is, maybe, a little general in terms of accuracy. Yeah. It's not great, but really not much difference than any other politician for the last 200 plus years.
If a group of people are going to jump up and down about it, but not about a candidate that is a felon, a rapist, a cheat, a traitor, a lier to the point of no truth what so ever, well what can you really do?
Anyway always enjoy you point of view guys!

Reproductive health and care is the bigger point
Matt, in the clip you played of what Walz said about he and his wife's "fertility treatments" IS INDEED "technically true". He said the same thing again tonight. While there is a "technical" difference between IVF and other fertility treatments there is no difference in the emotions families go through...or in how these families reject government interference in their decisions. Polls in the last couple of days show Walz as by far the most popular of the 4 candidates running. Question to you, after tonight's tremendously emotional DNC Night 3, do you really think Walz is being "dinged" by these politically motivated attacks, or alternately if the attackers will be viewed as the petty mean lyin liar bullies they are. Political analysts focus on Waltz camo hat or retrograde masculine vibe as his defining difference. They are missing the larger point. The lives of most politicians are pre-programmed for attaining power and fame. Walz, and many other Americans, have lives pre-programmed for serving their communities. Theses guys do not usually become successful politicians, and when they do they may make elocution mistakes. But this critical difference will be recognized by millions of voters who know people like them in their communities. They have a natural immunity to swift boating attacks. Remember it was Trump that said something about black jobs she's just reminded him that maybe he shouldn't be applying for this one
I'm just a civilian but the commentary in a lot of the big newspaper and TV Washington press Corps seem really disconcerted by the orientation toward working class stuff

I know this is heresy, but I thought Barack's speech was a lot better than Michelle's. It was a lot more conciliatory and relatable.

Im not sure that comparison of Mitchell Obama is appropriate. It’ll be a different thing if her kids made that statement.
