    Sorry but WTF?
Babies born alive full term & “someone decides whether to end that life”?
    Is that what you suggest?
    Seriously?
    No
    That does not happen
    Seriously
    Stop

He’s such a liar does not and has never happened. In fact abortion never happens after 4 months unless the child will have detrimental health problems for the baby or the mother.

We can expect bad faith actors like Matt Lewis to perpetuate lies like this. But it's really disappointing it went unchallenged by Bill.

Even though I did not want President Biden to run again I still would have voted for him, never #.45

Matt, the reason why there are late term abortions is because there is something drastically wrong with the fetus and the mother/parents are given the option for an abortion so as to not subject the newborn to unnecessary and often times unsuccessful resuscitation measures. Many congenital/genetic defects don’t appear until late pregnancy and what is being considered “late term” is barely past viability (22-24 weeks). Also, babies that are born extremely premature or have congenital/genetic defects that are incompatible with life and/or would require extensive medical intervention with unknown and poor outcomes are given the choice of palliative care for their newborn just as we provide compassionate palliative care for the aged and dying. Wouldn’t you want to be the one to make that choice, that decision? Having said that, I agree with your observation that KH is not being accurate when she says there are no late term abortions. I think she just doesn’t want to get into the weeds as to why and what circumstances it does occur. There is no such thing as an abortion after the baby is born and “killing a baby after it is born” is not happening.

I was perplexed about the comment on late term abortion. There is NO clinic that you would go to when you’re in your last trimester and just say I want an abortion. And honestly, you’re not going to go through 7 plus months of pregnancy and then just say you know what, I change my mind take it out, like people this crap IS NOT HAPPENING.

One of the things that the immigrants from Haiti will have to deal with is that they will always be easy to target. People coming from Eastern Europe were discriminated against, but were able to blend in within a generation or two. Even those coming from Central and South America can eventually blend in with the larger population. As long as black folks are considered "the other", they won't be able to shake off that label. I'd hoped that we were past all this as a country, but the past several years have proven that we're not.

Matt, Obviously I am just speculating but my bet is that your friends are disoriented by the way you have been able to influence so many on the left to move closer to the center by being respectful and open minded. I think the broad coalition that you are helping to build scares them so they are retreating to their comfort zone. I hope that eventually they will come around to your vision because I believe it is the best way forward for the country and for those friendships. It's not so bad, you still have Bill and all your new found admirers to hold you over until they do.

Biden action ‘s were appropriate. That way Harris will be eligible for two terms, not one.

Matt's recent guest, John Ganz, wrote an article called "This Land is Mein Land" on Vance's Republican Conventions speech. It's looking pretty prescient.

The bitterness probably came from the sudden change of fortune because of the candidate switch. Like buying a stock and its price drops immediately. I would be upset and bitter too 😹😹 I would check if they bought DJT stock too.

Getting more resources into Springfield is more of a state issue. Not sure what JD Vance can do on the federal level. Unless there is some unused dollars not currently used to beef up schools, hospitals staff etc…

I think Matt needs an advance on the Reagan era immigration rhetoric. It's not enough to tell MAGA voters that immigration helps the country. Matt needs to tell MAGA voters how immigration helps them personally. This particularly true for MAGA voters who know they live in one of the richest countries in the world but they don't personally feel that wealth.

Matt: If you actually believe the things you just said about T, then, as "liberal" as Harris is to you, compared to T, she might as well be Reagan, or Lincoln, or any of your favorite Republican pres. Okay? So why won't you vote for H against an existential threat such as T? Don't give me arguments on policies--your own "party" created T, and now you expect the Democrats to turn out a Paul Ryan for you before you'd help to fix up the mess?

Would love to hear your take on matt continetti and his ilk. His last couple weeks on commentary have been over the top anti kamala to the point of absurdity (calling walz pathological, aggressively saying the dems rhetoric is what's causing this). Seemed smarter. Oh well.

Man you lost a listener in this one. I used to listen to this podcast to glean some perspective. I used to tolerate Matt's nauseating revisionist history. But he crossed the line in this one. Now he's just barfing out bad faith "arguments" and blatant lies. This is no longer a podcast with any value or redeeming quality. Unsubscribed.

I agree with you, Matt, about the late-term abortions which Kamala denied were happening -- I think she wasn't being honest there. (I should say she lied there.) I actually thought Trump scored debate points (with me, though I'll never vote for him, and I'm sure with many others) when he tried to get Harris to say how late an abortion woudl be allowed, 8 months? 7?. She refused to answer.
