🤣🤣🤣 the funniest part is Harris criticizing Trump being nothing but personal attacks and name calling and Trump immediately following up with name calling and personal attacks.

The woman in Ohio who was arrested for the cat was not a Haitian or an immigrant. she was born in Ohio, as was her mother.
On the Ukraine issue, I would have liked the moderators to ask Harris if she wants to fund the war in perpetuity? How will you get the war to end? We didn’t learn anything substantive about Harris. What is an opportunity economy? Do you support the legislative filibuster or does it need to be changed? How will you get your spending priorities through if your party doesn’t have the senate, which is likely to be. Good overview Matt and Bill.
I actually thought Trump accidentally shot himself when he said “she has all these nice things but won’t be possible without Congress”. To me, that signaled I needed to reconsider voting for any down ballot Republicans because…I want what she is saying. She explained opportunity economy where entrepreneurship and startups are given a boost presumably by keeping the growing number of monopolies in check. You can also see how angry the billionaires associated with such monopolies now newly aligning to the trump campaign. A debate is not the right place to do a 101 level learning about someone. It’s a sparring match.
Is there likely to come a time when it would be better for Putin to control Ukraine than for us to support Ukraine?
It’s nuts to think I’ve listened to more than a dozen such post-Presidential debate recaps from this pair since ‘08 (not even counting primary debates so that’s another, like, forty)
Great and fun analysis as usual. I was writing down extensive notes during the debate and wrote in the margin “Trump just lost” after he talked about eating pets.
I bet Harris was thinking at that point: “I prepped one week for this?”
