I still remember before Switch came out and even a little after it came out, people kept saying over and over that it was too weak to run anything and it would get games from PS4 and XB1. Here we are, 4 years later. Switch has nearly 4000 games, many of which are ports from PS4 and XB1. Games like Dying Light, Hellblade, Darksiders 3, Witcher 3, Outer Worlds, Warframe, Overwatch, Smite, Paladins, Fortnite, Apex Legends, Disco Elysium, Plants vs Zombies Battle for Neighborville, and many many others have made their way to the system. Sure, games on Switch don't look as good or run as good but it's still very impressive that they're running on portable hardware using a chip from 2015. Seeing Dying Light look this good on Switch is very impressive.

Man techland are one of the few developers left who actually care. They keep adding new things to a 2015 game, always lots of fun events to encourage people to keep playing. And they are working on a next gen patch for the xbox series consoles and ps5 for a 2015 game which is impressive. All that while making dl2 which If its what they promise could be an incredible video game.

It's an excellent port, it turned out much better than I was expecting. I found it interesting that they ported the first game to the Nintendo Switch but the second game (which is a lot heavier and would probably suffer a lot more downgrades and wouldn't run well on the Nintendo Switch) they decided to just go cloud, so in the end we have the two options for series on Switch. Too bad Square didn't make the same move and decided to do everything via cloud with Kingdom Hearts.
I was thinking the same thing. Square could easily have the first two Kingdom hearts on Physical and Digital and the Thrid one could be run on the Cloud

Estou surpreso com a qualidade desse port, notei mais diferença nas sombras e partículas, mas isso não afetam em nada a gameplay. Framerate cravada em 30 fps, e uma ótima resolução. Espero que o game venda bem e que quem fez esse port seja reconhecida pelo seu trabalho.

Definitivamente este es el mejor port que se le ha hecho a la consola hasta el momento antes era Doom 2016 pero este tiene más mérito por ser mundo abierto, tener una calidad muy parecida a la versión de PS4 y mantener una resolución aceptable
@@jesseomollo9405 Desgraciadamente la diferencia gráfica entre la switch y otras plataformas (incluso poniendo la calidad en bajo) deja mucho que desear. Si no tienes otra manera de jugar el juego, es perfectamente jugable y disfrutable, pero si hay alternativa a jugarlo en otras plataformas, la superior calidad hace que el juego gane muchisimo. No como Doom eternal o el propio dying light, los cuales compiten muy codo a codo con las otras plataformas.
Probably would have had way much more sharper shadows than switch and the draw distance would have been slightly higher but apart from that, it would have ran on 720p 30FPS.

Es impresionante lo que la Switch puede llegar a mover, cuando los devs se lo proponen hacen milagros técnicos realmente de admirar y aplaudir, me recuerda cuando sacaron Uncharted y Killzone en la Vita, se ven de escándalo en una portátil que tiene 10 años de antigüedad que lastimosamente nunca le dieron el reconocimiento que merecía, estoy seriamente pensando en hacerme de una Switch!!
No cometas el mismo error que yo. La switch es una mala consola, te lo digo por experiencia. Hace tiempo que adquirí una switch y las primeras semanas era buena consola. Pero con el tiempo me percaté que tiene muchas más limitaciones de lo que creí. Los joystick son muy débiles y encima es caro remplazarlos. Después de unos meses la consola se sobrecalienta y su batería dura menos. Tiene mucha limitación en su catálogo, aparte de que los juegos son demasiado caros para lo que ofrecen. Si tienes manos grandes, te será incómodo jugar, a menos que compres el control élite, que te venden por separado. Tuve que venderla porque en realidad se siente como una consola que fue hecha para los niños pequeños, puesto que ellos no se figan en las caídas de los fps, el sobrecalentamiento, algunos juegos mal renderizados, problemas de texturas, botones pequeños, etc. Mi comentario va con mucho respeto y con base a mi experiencia con una switch. Si de verdad te hace mucha ilusión adquirir una Nintendo Switch comprala ❤️

@Arfghie He is right.. Sharper shadows make sense for people as the light is being blocked closer to the ground where shadows from Tree branches are more fuzzy.. Living in a forest, you tend to see it every day as well

It’s an excellent port I played hundreds of hours on ps4, then had to buy this for my switch lite. I play this regularly & its probably gonna go down as one of the best switch ports in history… FULL game.. full expansions all dlc, runs smooth & responsive.

Okay i was low-key impressed by how great it looks on my switch-lite. Im having an absolute blast with it. Hopefully the 2nd game is around the same quality. If not, I'll just pick up the ps4 version once it releases
Switch has that fast loading and Good graphics its just the amount of light not reflecting off of mostly everything but i have no complaints here Ps4 has good resolution but longer loading because if u got an update or something in the background will take longer to load in I have personally tried both There is a demo version of it on the ps3 but it was only out 2 hours before it got scrapped i tried it 1 hour before but the ps3 demo was good but the graphics were Meh.

Im so happy this is on the switch. Also dying light 2 has been delayed for the switch due to optimization. The fact the game is from 2015 is sad that we are praising it, it looks about 10% less than the ps4 version. But when you play a game like RE6 just know that was on the ps3 first. So knowing the switch can only do 1tflop and the ps4 is 1.8. I would expect this game to be less good looking. I think the switch gets a little more wiggle room though with flash storage. But its a reason why we havent seen the re games from recent years. The switch is almost as powerful as an og xbox one. But the lack of ram is what is really holding it back. But with how many sold I think more ports will come. Nintendo needs to be back in all major title releases. The cloud version isnt working. When a new switch comes out in 2 years. I will expect it to be as powerful as a ps4 pro. So then it’ll be getting more 8th-9th gen titles. So if you just have a switch it kinda sucks. Especially now. But I just ordered this & cant wait to play it.
Even if it did get a graphical downgrade, I'd say it's impressive that they managed to get it ported to Switch at all. Can say the same for a few games, come to think of it. Like Arkham Knight.

Solo por temas de resolución ya tiene mi voto Techland ,no fui fan de los ports de Doom y Wolfenstein por la baja resolución, ojalá más estudios se pongan las pilas y saquen buenos ports
Techland se ha sacado la polla con este port, sinceramente Panic Button perdió mi respeto después del desastroso y terrible port de Apex Legends. Llevo toda la tarde jugando a este Dying Light para switch, y es INCREÍBLE que se vea igual que una PS4 o XBOX ONE

Lo pregunto porque se que no es lo mismo ver esto en YT que jugarlo en la consola, hace un momento revisé un video de dying light en switch oled y no me pareció un port excelentemente trabajado, pero ahora miro el video del analista y me parece que todo cambió para bien. Aclaro que no soy de los que piden juegos al nivel de ps4 o xbox one, estoy al tanto de que en switch son necesarios varios recortes pero también soy consciente de que la máquina puede ofrecer ports que superan por mucho las expectativas (siempre que se recurra a equipos que se toman en serio su trabajo).
@@srcloud6311 a decir verdad panic button aun asi ha hecho buenos ports y aunque el apex legends no fue su mejor asaña(que de hecho lo han mejorado y ya es disfrutable) aun asi hizo milagros tecnicos y se ve que techland esta a su altura a la hora de portear juegos a switch

It run Doom Eternal, Skyrim and Witcher 3. I'm not surprise that it can run Dying Light. Switch is really an impressive little gadget.
With a good downgrade without making it look like a potato they could even do dying light 2 without cloud gaming

Es impresionante lo que la Switch puede llegar a mover, cuando los devs se lo proponen hacen milagros técnicos realmente de admirar y aplaudir, me recuerda cuando sacaron Uncharted y Killzone en la Vita, se ven de escándalo en una portátil que tiene 10 años de antigüedad que lastimosamente nunca le dieron el reconocimiento que merecía, estoy seriamente pensando en hacerme de una Switch!!
No cometas el mismo error que yo. La switch es una mala consola, te lo digo por experiencia. Hace tiempo que adquirí una switch y las primeras semanas era buena consola. Pero con el tiempo me percaté que tiene muchas más limitaciones de lo que creí. Los joystick son muy débiles y encima es caro remplazarlos. Después de unos meses la consola se sobrecalienta y su batería dura menos. Tiene mucha limitación en su catálogo, aparte de que los juegos son demasiado caros para lo que ofrecen. Si tienes manos grandes, te será incómodo jugar, a menos que compres el control élite, que te venden por separado. Tuve que venderla porque en realidad se siente como una consola que fue hecha para los niños pequeños, puesto que ellos no se figan en las caídas de los fps, el sobrecalentamiento, algunos juegos mal renderizados, problemas de texturas, botones pequeños, etc.
Mi comentario va con mucho respeto y con base a mi experiencia con una switch. Si de verdad te hace mucha ilusión adquirir una Nintendo Switch comprala ❤️

Mi pc cafetera no corre el dying light se ve muy bien en switch si sacrifica cosas pero no daña la inmersión o eso parece

A pesar de ser switch los graficos son casi identicos y me di cuenta que switch en ocasiones produce 32 fps y el ps4 mantiene los 30 fps pero switch solo esta utilizando el 75 % de su capacidad tecnica entonces es capas de ejecutar mas juegos exijentes

La desarolladora hizo un exelente trabajo cada centabo vale la pena actualmente lo estoy jugando mucho y es increíble nisquiera siento lag solo cuando hay mucho zombies solo basta con alejarte o eliminarlos y todo bien ademas se recupera rapido de esa caida
Llevaba años creyendo que era en la nube, y por eso ni lo miraba en las ofertas , es increíble lo que el esfuerzo de los estudios puede llegar a lograr

It’s an excellent port I played hundreds of hours on ps4, then had to buy this for my switch lite. I play this regularly & its probably gonna go down as one of the best switch ports in history… FULL game.. full expansions all dlc, runs smooth & responsive.

Okay i was low-key impressed by how great it looks on my switch-lite. Im having an absolute blast with it. Hopefully the 2nd game is around the same quality. If not, I'll just pick up the ps4 version once it releases
Switch has that fast loading and Good graphics its just the amount of light not reflecting off of mostly everything but i have no complaints here
Ps4 has good resolution but longer loading because if u got an update or something in the background will take longer to load in

There is a demo version of it on the ps3 but it was only out 2 hours before it got scrapped i tried it 1 hour before but the ps3 demo was good but the graphics were Meh.
playing it now, it's very interesting to have open world game, survival, and quests, with pretty environment. enjoying it on the go :)

Im so happy this is on the switch. Also dying light 2 has been delayed for the switch due to optimization. The fact the game is from 2015 is sad that we are praising it, it looks about 10% less than the ps4 version. But when you play a game like RE6 just know that was on the ps3 first. So knowing the switch can only do 1tflop and the ps4 is 1.8. I would expect this game to be less good looking. I think the switch gets a little more wiggle room though with flash storage. But its a reason why we havent seen the re games from recent years. The switch is almost as powerful as an og xbox one. But the lack of ram is what is really holding it back. But with how many sold I think more ports will come. Nintendo needs to be back in all major title releases. The cloud version isnt working. When a new switch comes out in 2 years. I will expect it to be as powerful as a ps4 pro. So then it’ll be getting more 8th-9th gen titles. So if you just have a switch it kinda sucks. Especially now. But I just ordered this & cant wait to play it.

Para ser en la Switch se ve bastante decente el port, ahora en la Steam Deck irá de lujo con mejor calidad gráfica y probablemente a 60 fps.
Even if it did get a graphical downgrade, I'd say it's impressive that they managed to get it ported to Switch at all. Can say the same for a few games, come to think of it. Like Arkham Knight.
Anyone that knocks this port needs to realize getting this game to look and run so good on Switch is like pulling a tractor trailer with a riding lawn mower. The developers pulled a miracle out of their ass.
