If you use binos with range finder or some technology the magnet ruin it, magnets snap shut sometimes and can be load on a stalk, if you run your phone on the back pocket a magnet can ruin your screen, and if you have a pacemaker a magnet can effect that. Lots of reasons for us but in the end it's personal preference.

Naaa on quick hunts I have my Mystery Ranch fanny pack and I flip it backwards so it's on my back all you see is a fat strap across my chest, I can flip it easy and quiet, holds anything even a pistol and all kinds of gear. All this stuff just gets in the way
We are working on an holster attachment to attach to the game changer harness! Hopefully should be out soon! We also have our Traverse 2.0 that has can can a pistol on the bottom of the harness!

Looks like a nice harness. Double front pockets is really nice. If you dropped a magnetic version, I would become a customer.

Magnets can affect the gps in your phone, also if you have a built in range finder in your binos the magnet can effect the compass inside of it.

Oh, I guess you're talking about the same Vortex Bino Harness I had and that fell appart within a year, for me and for a lot of people. Never again
