This kind of mic placement has happened in other trials and with other networks. I have wondered if it might be because the judge puts limits on where they can place mics???

@GoonieGooGoo Truth was considered. Do you make that statement to further argue, as Jones has, that the judge somehow wouldn’t let him make his defense? If that is what you are saying, you are completely wrong.
This stage of the trial was to determine damages anyway. Jones refused to participate in the portion of the trial to determine liability-a default judgement was entered for Jones there. He could have participated there and (possibly) argued toward a different judgment. He creates this mess on his own through 1) his wild claims over many years and 2) refusal to engage in the trial and make his defense.
@GoonieGooGoo Strange conclusion and not connected to what we see in the video. I don’t believe you watched the trial that you are commenting on.
@GoonieGooGoo Why would the court allow a statement after the default judgment was entered? Because they need to try to assign a dollar amount to the harm Jones caused and a punitive amount to deter him and others from engaging in such harmful behavior in the future.
They split it up so that the jury can focus on one matter and then the other. They need to see evidence and hear witness testimony during the damages portion of the trial so they can consider what they should say Jones owes to make this right by the plaintiffs.
Problem with Jones and people like him is he never thinks he is wrong . Usually when you are righteous in that way , you are rarely right.
Well he believes that after 10 yrs of spewing poison and launching lunatics to harass these families. He feels like he can just apologize and everything is all good!
It's a trademark attribute of Narcissistic Personality Disorder. I'm no psychologist, I just grew up with a parent with all the same traits. I can't say that they have it bc technically they weren't diagnosed w NPD. The person in question has to willfully go to therapy for the diagnosis, which my parent didn't do. VERY FEW people with NPD are officially diagnosed for this reason.
My guess is that Alex Jones has Narcissistic Personality Disorder, but will never have to face that fact bc he will probably never step foot in a therapist office. And even if he does, he can still hide that diagnosis from the world.... but he can't hide his actions!
Rick your so full of $hit, he was right most of the time, MSN is wrong most of the time and never held accountable.
Alex Jones has been right about way more than he's been wrong about.
@@leifkhas7425 lolol 🤣🤣 that's the funniest joke I've read all day!
The one who lies deserves to rule...lose...🤦🤣
I would like to thank Law and Crime for coverage of this strange trial. So, this is a 6 day trial, about a defamation case that Jones already lost, and this is for a jury ruling on the damages to be meted out. ?
When I compare this to Depp vs Heard, it is pretty clear, this is a clown show.
There is both a period and a question mark after your opening paragraph. So I'll deal with it as a question.
This is simply to determine how much money Alex Jones should pay. That's all.
It's going to take six days to demonstrate clearly the level of malice Alex Jones demonstrated and the level of incompetence Alex Jones and his crew demonstrated.
The truth was out there all the time and they ignored it. For years they ignored it.
Yes, usually there would also be a trial about whether or not Alex Jones and Info Wars are liable before a jury. However Alex Jones and Info Wars/ Free Speech Systems did not fulfill their discovery obligations for a very long time while the plaintiffs did. As a result the judge found that the appropriate sanction for this behavior is a default judgement finding Alex Jones, Free Speech Systems and Info Wars liable. So all that remains of the trial is the part where the jury has to decide how much Alex Jones, Info Wars and Free Speech Systems have to pay to plaintiffs.
Yes the trial you see here is for damages, his side refused to comply with court orders to hand over documents so they automatically lost the legal proceeding side of things. He's not "guilty" of anything this isn't a criminal case it's a civil case i believe the judge points that out to the defendant's lawyer at one point not sure which video though.
@@DiustheZ correct. As a civil case, he can be ruled "liable" or "not liable." This isn't a "guilty vs innocent" situation -- that is for criminal trials.
Did anyone else hear "madonnas vogue" ringtone at defense opening?
Thank you❤
Starts @ 45:00
I remember him pushing those vitamins 😆
Could I please borrow this plaintiff lawyer for a family court case that would be amazing 😅
You would definitely not win the case. They are violating the constitution which I’m sure they’ll be ethic violations filed once this case is done. The judge is very very very bias along with the plaintiffs attorneys. Texas won’t put up with this kinda bias. The attorneys general office is probably watching every move of this case.
The mental gymnastic of the defense attorney...
Jones' lawyer is making me LMFAO
I didn't know Gordon Ramsay moonlights undercover as an American lawyer. Good for him
They got him good in court! Let's do even more to hit Alex Jones harder: Let the news just publish the Electric Bill from Sandy Hook for the last 12 months that the School was opened. That will kick him badly.
The lead detective says something like that by the time he got to Newtown police station there were already some of the survivors there and we had 'pretty good confirmation' that there were some fatalities in the school...
`powerpoint,what's that?
Jones is now suing his own company to try and get out of paying anything.
What!?
he said he has nothing
, oh i get it
if u lie u will eventually [ay
Figures. Where did he spend it? Not on a decent suit 🤪 that's obvious.
@@vitalucas9452 He has 456, 435 guns, $$$$$$$$$$, just in case the 'Lizard People' show up at his house!
I’m glad the court reporter got a bit of a break once Alex’s producer showed up
Excellent opening :) from Prosecutor.
That woman who is testifying sits their and answering the questions like AJ has a hold on her. My god.
Don’t drink the water, Alex 🐸🐸🐸
Nor touch a Sodo!
That water was gone before they even started.
Somethings going on….
Id like a service to deliver tap water to his front door 🐸🐸🐸🐸
"If I stand up EVERYONE stands up" lol
I can tell she bias
Yes, that’s how it is in every single courtroom in the US.

Even though it's part of decorum. There are ways of doing things. it's only been like an hour or so. she can't be that snarky already.
it just shows how different judges can behave like. remember johnny depp and amber heard's judge. she was way more chilled, but still kept a firm hand
That's just the way you are supposed to behave in court NOT only in the US but almost in every country in the world! For God's sake so much ignorance
Here is a statement that I think is from the judge on a website about her, copy/paste--> "For me, being a Judge is about service to Travis County. I have endeavored to preside over a courtroom that listens to all, treats parties consistently and respectfully, and returns rulings quickly. For her I guess it is about service to Travis County. I wish that judges felt this way about service to uphold law over legality in service to humankind.
I sometimes live in Austin. She is very respected in Austin.
She's a FANTASTIC judge!
She's a wonderful judge and I enjoy the way she doesn't put up with shenanigans.
3:06:00 This judge is like 100% fed up with the defence attorneys. Kick em out. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
The defense lawyer could have been hair style model. Anything but a lawyer.
He probably tried but his dad wouldn't let him
A hair style model from 1986?
Where are all the objections!!!
25:40 finally alex cracks a joke with his lawyer with the hearing aids. Until, then alex just watched the guy doodle on his notepad.
It happened I had to drive by school on my way to work. Those who say it didn't have are delusional.
Ya but you are lying , so you are delusional as well .
Did you see bodys?if not you diddnt
See anything
Alex Jones never said it didn't happen he said the government was involved that's it
"I drove by the school. Stuff was happening."
@@jabrockjajoggins7911 It was, USA governments are pro schools and pro guns, so good chance of every now and then someone showing up in one and shooting a few children/teachers. USA has about 10-15k gun homicides per annum.
