Luca was the first Miraidon player that Yuta played for the entire tournament, and I think that may have played a part in his loss. Thanks for the streams mate, was a good time!
It’s odd to be emotionless after working so hard for this opportunity. Glad Luca won. His happiness makes the climax more enjoyable for the fans and future competitors.
Wolfey top cut Worlds in Hawaii in 2012, but didn't win overall, but he won 2016 Worlds in San Francisco. He top cut in Hawaii this year, Worlds 2026 is in San Francisco, and he defended a regional title this year (Orlando 2023+2024). This shouldn't be treated as a reliable prediction method, but...
….he should retire? Like sports, he’s been around a long time. It reminds me of tennis players when they get older. They win early but fade against the tougher opponents. He won a regional that he hand picked because of the players that would be attending. I am no expert but he reminds me of John McEnroe when he got old. Wolf would be best commentator in the history of the franchise too.
@@viviorko He went 18-0, that's a world record. No one has ever done that. Defeated someone regarded as invincible on day 1 and one of if not the best Japanese player on day 2 without loosing any game. I heavily believe that no one in the entire tournament could have outplayed him if he was playing to his maximum potential. Willing to bet if any of those opponents played him in finals where he had an entire day to rest and prepare, he'd beat em all. It seemed like his match with hirafumi drained him and maybe some anxiety to maintain the undefeated streak caused him to loose all next 3 rounds.
@@Warlord_Megatron , so your answer is excuses and a statement that he isn’t physically fit enough to win. And breaking records against weaker competition is impressive but it doesn’t mean anything when you lose day two 1-3 against better opponents. But this is another year of this happening to him.
The streams were good mate, keep up the good work. Can't wait to try out the new season this year, i went to Melbourne this year just gone and it was fun. Going to try and attend some locals this season to get some more experience.
@@ScooteezyVGC Ive tried in the past to make them but i have to travel about an hour and a half or 2 to get to the closest one. Living in eastern Victoria is rough. Ill keep trying though.
Honestly the fact that everyone had an entire season to prepare to counter this one particular restricted and it still won the world championship goes to show how omega cracked miraidon is
@Warlord_Megatron the problem with Miraidon counters is that they make it easier for you to lose to the Calyrex's. After Indianapolis, where Miraidon won the first regional, the Calrex's began an onslaught.
Seems very likely the next mainline game won't be until 2026, they're slowing down the release schedule to finally give a bit of extra time for optimising and polishing the games. Imo we'll get Legends Z-A sometime mid-late next year with the launch of the Switch 2, and we won't see any more on the game until the Switch 2 is revealed
It was disrespectful when luka won and rushed to his organization lol instead of saying good game to the Japanese player. I was rooting for Yuta. Shows not great sportsmanship

Wow how possible ? Luck or unluck?
I would've been a champion if I didn't miss my flight to worlds!
Yeah, you could tell he didn't know how to handle it and with no way to change the terrain, he was gonna struggle.
Eh idk about that, if the team wasn't prepared for one of the most spammed restricted, what was it prepared for?
Are you telling me one of the best players in the world is still not used to fighting Miraidon?
Kinda poetic that Miraidon won the first and last (sorta) tournament of reg g.
Scoot man, thank you for streaming and posting all the content. Your growth has been awesome to see, can’t wait to see 10k soon
He himself is entertaining too
Pretty cool a SV box legendary got to win its inaugural championship

He doesn't need to win more... it's okay... he's already cemented his legacy on the game... he can already retire like Ray did

streams were great this weekend, you should do that again for other tournaments
When you run moves like Draco Meteor, you're gonna lose games cos of Draco Meteor.

Best Reg for post Worlds, wish it would be longer than January
Miraidon is just INSANE. Maybe we see the rise of ground types when we revisit this

I can’t believe they didn’t give us info on the new game. 😔
Since ZA is a singleplayer game, I can *understand* it but double US Worlds just... PAIN

First, Luca and not Luka, second he then came back to greet Yuta. Let the guy enjoy his moment, it had nothing to do with sportmandhip
What? Luca gave his respects after. At least he showed happiness and appreciation. If Yuta won he probably be emotionless “😐”
