      @wastedninjadude The choice scarf Lando and Speed Booster Iron Valiant spells big problems for Miraidon no matter the Tera since both outspeed.
      Iron Hands and Calyrex Ice have around the same base stat at 50. Which means either Iron Hands won the speed tie, or Luca negative EV'd Hands speed to just outspeed Ice Rider in trick room.
      Yuta would have no way of guessing that so it was a toss up heading into the match.
      Yuta actually had the advantage. In game one, had he sandsear stormed, he would of gotten significant damage onto both the urshifu and the Irons that came in.
      Iron Valiant could of attacked Urshifu and the game would instantly been over.
      Yuta had all the matchup capabilities into Luca's team. He just made bad reads and Luca took advantage.

Luca shows happiness and appreciation after working his whole life to get this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. The last thing we need is an emotionless world champ. It diminishes the moment with a -_- facial expression.

      Probably would still lose. The flame masked Ogrepon will one hit the terra grass Pelipper (it's no longer water type defensively)

    • @stallsunguy3064
      @stallsunguy3064 Месяц назад

      Ogerpon easily OHKO's the Pelipper afterwards but would've been neater ig
      Also even if the Ogerpon died to Spirit Break by absolute magic, the Miraidon 1v1s the Pelipper even with Tera Grass (easily 2HKO's with the resisted hit and survives any hit IF it doesn't just OHKO the resist, which is very possible too) so the game was essentially checkmated by then.

    • @stallsunguy3064
      @stallsunguy3064 Месяц назад

      @@shirohirukaActually, if the Iron Valiant hypothetically clicked Destiny Bond (though I think it didn't have it?) AND the Pelipper clicked Tailwind, Destiny Bond trades with Miraidon whereas Tailwind allows the Pelipper to outspeed the 40% HP Ogerpon
      Then it would STILL have to land Hurricane because the rain stopping means Weather Ball is no longer Water-type, but I guess THAT was a winnable outcome, if the Valiant had the move at all.
