You are right in thinking that they will move to lower placements if there are duplicate decks though, has happened a couple times in the past, last year as well I think due to how many mew vmax were around

Facts: Fernando lost his top 8 match 0-2 (and should have been eliminated at that point). Fernando beat Jesse in the top 4 match. Fernando beat Seinosuka in the finals. It's not Fernando's fault for something that Ian Robb did. But giving him the round win and letting him advance to top 4 feels like the wrong decision by TPCi. And for anyone saying that Ian Robb was just doing a fist pump or "dice rolling" motion - you are on some insane levels of copium lol. There ain't no way. I've never seen anyone fist pump like that ever in my life 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣.

Without it, he would pass the turn and the other player would attack to win. Like a good participant, he extended his hand accepting defeat.
