Thanks a ton for your useful video! I am an Executive Assistant and will start using Google Calendar in a new job (after 8yrs of Outlook) so very glad to get these useful tips ahead of Day1. Thank you.
Congrats on your new job! The switch from Microsoft to Google can be a bit daunting at first but you'll manage just fine! We cover almost all of the Google Workspace apps on our channel so do check if you have any questions.
I love this video and your super well organize to explain everything you make it easy for us!!❤️❤️❤️ Thank you so much! I'm an inspiring VA and I think I want an Administrative task to be my niche. This is so helpful and definitely for free! I will watch and study all your videos for sure!❤️
Thank you so much your clear explanation! So glad I found your account since I am currently switching to google calendar and that whole universe for professional reasons. You videos have been such big help!
I saw your video just before my EV interview. I was expecting a question regarding calendar management & that's how I came across your video. The info about the master calendar options helped me understand it better. Your video has some impact on my successful interview
i have a question if many people are using same google calendar to schedule customers is there a way we can set up the calendar where whoever made the schedule or changes we can see you did the change so that person can be responsible for the schedule. because we have to issue of going back to see who made the changes. please help! thank you
Excellent! Just a clear instruction, each and every items explains very transparently. Thanks @saperis for this valuable sharing 😊😊 Best wishes for you!
Since you can only "attach" files that are saved to Google Drive it's mandatory to share that file with anyone you add as a participant to the event. So before adding the file to the calendar event you should share it with your manager. Find out how to share files here: ruclips.net/video/hrDPkv7sTx0/видео.html
I have a question. How do you keep subscribed calendars separate but also delete the duplicate events. For example, in the video Jane has her team meeting on Friday September 10, but she also sees that Adam is attending the same team meeting. Is there a way she can delete seeing this as a part of Adam’s calendar but only keep the duplicate event on her own calendar? Thank you in advance.
Can you do a calendar meeting when one lives in NYC and the other lives in Texas or Australian get confused when that happens can you go deeper with that
Oh I see . I guess it’s a matter of getting use to it. So if I do a Texas meeting and the other person lives in Australia they will still be able to set same time schedule time🤷♀️
@@elizabethvasquez1024 No, the time zone calculation is done for you. If you invite them to an event at 9AM Texas time zone, the invite will show at the corresponding time in the Australian users's calendar.
This was great! However, I've had the hardest time trying to implement it. It doesn't allow the permissions. They are greyed out. I want my main calendar (personal) to act as an Administrative Assistant calendar for my other business calendars. It's all connected, but not performing properly. Do you offer support for such things?
No, I don't offer any support services. Everything I showed in my video is done on a paid Google Workspace account. Sometimes the admin of the organization disables certain sharing options. So if you are using a corporate account this might be the reason you can't choose all of the sharing options.
Great channel and content, I'll be using it very often 😳. But I need help. How can I send a request to my manager to gain access to his Google calendar? He ask me to send him a request via Google calendar. Please help 😆 😳
Can you make restrictions when creating a booking or making an appointment, so to restrict someone who already made an appointment not to be able again to make one so one can book all the appointments and not show up...
@@saperis thanks for reply! Last week I signed up for a Google Workspace account, $12/mth, today I canceled that account because of this, it did not have any whatsoever security restrictions or any payment transaction method for the reserved appointment, which could restrict other users from reserving(Blocking) all free appointments for Real Customers. Very very sad somehow to see a BigAss company like Google not to have this security feature. Looks like I have to rely on a traditional Website for this.

You can see who created a new calendar event. But you can't see who made changes to an already existing event.
sure, so it’s not possible yes 👍

Sure, you can invite someone in a different time zone. The meeting will be displayed in the time zone of that person.

@@elizabethvasquez1024 Very sorry, but I currently don't do any Google Workspace videos on this channel.
When I open the drop down menu to "share with specific people" it won't let me click the other options...can we fix this setting somehow?
I'm assuming you are using a paid Google Workspace account. In that case the administrator switched off the other settings for your organization.
