Thanks for this it really helps, many VA youtubers assume you are from administrative job background, so don't go into details like this. If you are trying to become a VA having never been anyone's assistant or secretary before it's hard to know where to start. Another thing I'm finding is in all the videos I've watched about getting clients, people just say "Tell your friends and family" again if you come from a background of admin work you probably have a better network to start with. How do you find business owners doing well enough to pay you £25 an hour, if none of your friends or family have their own businesses that require assistance? Also just showing up to business networking events as new VA with no clients at all doesn't sound like a great way to get people to invest their money in you, as what if you are terrible and can't do any of the things they need you to? I wouldn't want to hire someone with no experience, who would?

Yeah, I nailed these tasks. My way of thinking was pretty much the same.... With the dinner date I'd ask for a preferred time before looking. Some people like to eat early, others late.

Oh boy. I live in Utah and I visited a few amazing restaurants so I thought I had it in the bag. I thought the Roof Restaurant was perfect because I visited it every year for Christmas. While i was surprised That particular restaurant didn't show, we both had very similar notes about the Log Haven Restaurant, and I was proud of my descriptions of both! However your task lessons was amazing for teaching me the detailed pesky nuances that can be missed if you don't think things through and pay attention! Love your videos thank you! I'm trying to start this at 19 so I can go to college! wish me luck!
