@2:47 He is never depicted as evil. As far as I know, he is never depicted as evil. Wearing snakes, living in cemeteries and being friends with goblins are not necessarily evil. He also lives in the lofty Himalayas, He also adorns himself with moon and luxurious kanaka jewel and other golden ornaments. He is also friends with highest Gods and is deeply respected by them. Mixture of opposites. He is neither bad nor good. Neither friend nor foe. He is the representation of attributeless Brahman. When he takes on attributes he takes on the form to protect Dharma. So he is the source of morality. As you say he does good to the good and punishes the bad. Shiva is indeed much more complex.
Apart from that the video is great. Appreciate the effort.

@@parthchoudhary5534 no he is not. Tamas guni doesn't necessarily mean evil. It means crude. Because he roams through cemeteries, smashanas, behaves like an aghori and keep demons ( although ganas, yakhsas and gandharvas aren't technically demons) and snakes as his associates he's often referred to as Tamasguni. But His true nature is also trigunateeta ie above all attributes. This is what happens when you have a limited knowledge to the things you explain.

We are one of the last few religions that worship multiple Gods. Here, you can choose what you worship, a child's innocence and the grasp He has on an entire village, a recluse living with his wife trying to meditate but has to be prepared to destroy this world because the evil has grown to a point it cannot be saved, or a River who literally heals and has fed most of us or our ancestors either directly or indirectly.

Shiva is a righteous teacher to all beings and not malevolent with any form of wickedness. His destroying aspect is understood as an end to living things. The death phase of animate and inanimate forms of creation. He is not to be feared but thanked because without his righteous principles, the circle of life would be corrupted.

It was my 3rd experience with DMT which introduced me to Shiva's energy. I understood right there that without destruction (change) life becomes stagnant and terrifying. I was trapped in a metaphysical loop where I could not escape predictability so I "became" shiva in a sense to end my suffering. The tv was broken, smashed plates littered the room and the Christmas tree lay dismantled.. But I accomplished my goal in that headspace and learned the valuable life lesson that we need to love and embrace chaos because that is what saves us from ourselves. Thank you for reading, love you all! Bless ❤️

    "Try to understand,
I am everything, when I am within you (soul). But everything becomes nothing when I leave you."
    The meaning of ShivaShakti
    shi-start from va-ended in (soul) shakti-Energy
    AUM NAMHA SHIVAY
    1. Third eye means He knows everything, master of knowledge and also even if he closed his eyes still everything is in front of him, when he stopped watching this universe it will happened only when this universe comes at its end i.e. namely Trilochana.
    (विद्यातिर्थम् महेश्वरम् )
    2. Moon on head means he is
beyond time i.e. mahakaal ( when prajapati Daksh cursed moon that it will be depreciated (kshay) so by attaching moon by lord Shiva with himself save the moon. Don't forgot that Shiva is formless but one can see him in idle form that I have explained in my whole comment. Well how Shiva is formless just see his meditation form where Shiva with closed eyes means he try to tell everybody that he is eternal and that's how he is in everyone and everywhere. Shakti (energy) is itself creation and it's expanding nature shows that Shiva (soul) is present within it.
    3. Damaru in hand means lord of
music and creator of first sound AUM ॐ i.e. Nataraja
    ( नादअधिनम् जगत सर्वम् & i.e. ॐ )
    4. Snake necklace shows master of yoga, kundalini shakti and negative energy too. Also the one who tackle his ego will become his energy i.e. Aadiyogi
    5. Three lines on fore head and tridem shows master of three world or god of God's i.e. Vishweshwar or Mahadev
    6. Bhasm or ashes on body shows end result of every individuals body
This is also the law of nature the one who take birth must die i.e. Aghorshiva
    7. Bhootnath i.e. controller of five ingredients in the formation of this body so only he has ability to make any dead thing alive.
    AND MOST IMPORTANTLY
Ardhanarishwara i.e. shivashakti swaroop shows everything starts from it represented by Shivalinga.
Just search on Google Ardhanarishwara you will get a picture.
Most people says that he is high on marijuana. But they forgot that, he drink poison also.
He loves everything which belongs to nature (prakruti) because he is the ultimate soul (purusha) of this
    universe.
I tried to described a little bit of him. Hop this will help you.
Like this there are 108 names of Shiva each has a meaning and shows him as a supreme.
    शिवा (आत्मा): हर आरंभका मेहि अंत हूँ| हर अंत सदैव मेराही आरंभ होगा.

Lorenzo Qobi plz do not ascertain urself to a conclusion on the basis of this video alone 😂 Hinduism (no one is India call it that though 🤷‍♂️), is much much more complex than just being a religion , it’s a way of life , each deity and being depicted in the scriptures represent a virtue which is to be understood and followed , there are thousands of meanings to be given to a single stanza of a hymn in a single page of a book written and judging something solely on the context of how it’s portrayed is deemed as hindsight (I’m no blind follower myself but the values that they convey is precious) don’t go judging without ample knowledge in that subject

    • @29gopikrishnap2

Lorenzo Qobi and ur statement does hold some ground , I’m no sceptic but find me an individual who practices the faith above to agree with u , what u don’t understand is that people love their gods and deities from where I come from , it’s not out of fear or due to the fact that that certain individual is more “powerful” (sometimes words don’t click , this is the best I could come up with) and by vowing fidelity to them would safeguard u and so on , there’s none who would even think of shamming or ridiculing the gods of Hinduism cause never have they ruled by power or instilled fear among their devotees , whereas in the case of Greek and other British and many aboriginal faiths the gods are somewhat trivialised by infusing them with humane mistakes such as greed Lust and jealousy and ya they have been portrayed to have ruled by fear

Shiva didn't "become" Mahadeva. He always was. He used the help of other Gods to destroy to Tripura just as a form a leela showing union of all the Gods. Shiva didn't need their power. He is after all the destroyer of the universe itself. Why would he need other God's powers to destroy mere three cities (tripura) ???

I have heard other interpretations of the mountain story where he drinks Halahala. It isn't a metaphor for marriage troubles. It is a reflection of our own pain while we are seeking to be a higher being. When you begin to turn your life around and become disciplined, there will be pain and discomfort. Maybe when you practice yoga, meditate or have therapy, these bad feelings and memories that you are holding back come to the surface. Everything you hate about yourself is amplified and comes up out of the depths of your mind. Shiva will drink and destroy these things. Whether it is your ego, your evil thoughts, fear etc,, he will destroy it. Does anyone else interpret it that way?

In Hinduism there is no who came first. A cycle has no beginning or end. Shiva, vishu and brahma are different aspects of the same.
Shiva is also called mahakala or kalakala. Which mean killer of death. Since he had killed death once.he is also vaidyanath, which means he is a healer. He is nataraja, the king of dance.he is mahadeva(god of gods).he is a destroyer, destroyer of egoes .
Snakes or serpents, in his arms represents chaos. He is the one who manages chaos.his attire is like that because he knows the difference between nashwara(those that ultimately ends, so has a beginning) and ishwara(those that do not end or begin, which some call god) . He is called neelakanta because kallakoota. A poison that could have affected the world and killed even all the gods or deities. Btw, i am shaivate.
I have to read phallus story in any purana. If it exist, please provide citation. Sure it can be interpreted that way, but then the base will have to be interpreted as vagina.also another interpretation which is widely excepted is that.it mean to show and give nirakara brahman(the one who does not have a form), an akaara (form). So that people, who need something to focus on and meditate can use it.

When you can not see anything it is formless shiva..

Well Linga has a different story as well.
Linga was the sphere ellipsoid gifted by Shiva to Devi when he went for an abundant meditation during the time of Devi's journey of Navadurga and Dusmahavidya.
Infact this story of his penis getting cut off is in folklore. But Shivamahapurana says that he is the only one who is free from all curses because he is Aghor in his being.
Hence it's a falasy to say that Lingam represents his penis. Infact it can't, as In Sanskrit Lingam means a symbol while the sanskrit version of penis is Shishna or Shishan.
The other version of folklore is the curse rebounded to the rishi group. From where Lord Vishnu takes over and brings Shiva back to Kailash with assistance from the everlasting spirit of AdiShakti who basically incarnated as Sati and Parwati.
    Thanks for this video.
But, couldn't like for the persistence of the misinterpretation of Lingam.

    • @meghanachauhan9380
      @meghanachauhan9380 5 лет назад +8

No it was an insult made by Vaishnavites to insult Shaivites during early stages of Hinduism. But you know, they were cool so they turned the insults into compliments

    • @saptarshi-banerjee-9322
      @saptarshi-banerjee-9322 5 лет назад +7

@@meghanachauhan9380 That's true that many who being insulting towards Lord Shiva call themselves vsishnava. But that's the biggest paradox. Because without lord Shiva's worship and regards they can't even say Hare Krishna. Because the word "Hare" represent Hari and Hara. Hari is name of Lord Vishnu as he takes away the pains and sorrows of his devotees. While Hara is the name of Lord Shiva while he takes away the miseries from bad Karma of any sincere devotee/seeker of the relief.
The fact is this fire, between vaishnav and shaivia groups of worship and school of Sanatanam Dharma, is started by the legendary invaders of India, the Arabian and English tribal conquerors. Former of them came with sowrds, resins and some metals like aluminum for trading while the latter ones carried some fake skin medicine and decoration tools along with guns and fireweapons.
When they settled, thus they were confirming their divide and rule. First by subjugating and modifying the interpretation of caste system of our vedic academic and employment structure then by implementation of their inherent tribalism.
Otherwise Vaishnav and Shaivia are one and same. No Vishnu without Shivam and vice versa. The proof of it lies in famous Mantra the Vishnu Shahasra Naam stotra and Shiva Tandav which is narration about Shivam to Ravan by lord Vishnu. Which Ravan later sang in caves of Himalayas as a tribute and penalty of disgraceful act.
      :-)
Don't keep rejections for Vaishnav. They are our beloved brothers.

Barbarik is a late character who appears in the story, but he is actually not present in any non-allegorical version of the Mahabharata. It's the same with Ashwatthama, no real scriptural evidence that links him with Shiva. He received powerful weapons due to the partiality of his father, the master of weapons: Drona. However, even Drona in all his love did not consider him worthy enough to receive the mantra to both recall and re-use some of the strongest astras granted to Ashwatthama, such as the Narayanastra and Brahmashirastra. Moreover, there's nothing in the Mahabharata that links Karna with Saharsakavacha.

@Luveesh Purswani I dont know if there is anything wrong with gita. Cuz I never read it. Gita says most about the human personality so complicated yet so simple. Plz read the puranas the base of the Hindu mythology. Vishnu purana says that Vishnu is the supreme god but in shiva mahapurana Shiva is the supreme, and in some other texts Brahma is the supreme one. When all of these goinon I can't relate to your statement that Krishna is above everything even above the Trinity. Krishna is a human who born on Earth as an avatar of Vishnu. And Vishnu is a cosmic being who lives in vaikunda, who knows Vishnu has other avatars on a different world. You don't think beyond your own perception that's your problem. Other avatars of Vishnu saved the whole world at times so Krishna is not even above them. Krishna is important to as is because he is one of the recent avatars that's all

this is an amazing series of videos, many thanks.
Given your knowledge, I felt it worth contacting you Kindred.
I was the victim of an unprovoked attempted murder attack some 21 years ago. I was stabbed by a stranger, went blind and partly paralysed as well as experienced immense pain.
I had an experience whilst I died briefly, it taught me a lot of stuff.
Whilst in the death moment, regardless of my being Christian all my 30 years, even being asked to consider taking up a ministry several times, I was taken to what the thought was a very large, proud and strong Native American Indian.
The thing which puzzled me when looking at him from behind was both forearms had living snakes around them.
I learned some 15 years later the parson before me was Lord Shiva, I then found out our bodies realise huge amounts of DMT when we move into our death event.
So once I learned the death event I experienced was true to me, I found the place I was taken too.
Then I learned about ayahuasca, within 2 months I was in the Amazon, with the maximum number of ceremony’s I was allowed.
It was then more clear than ever before that everything is Lord Shiva.
I have learned, Lord Shiva is the destroyer of illusion.
Could you help me find meaning in this please?

You forgot to mention the most important fact that Shiva is beyond time he knows the past, present and future yet he acts the way he does because he already knows what will do greater good to the beings. Also there are texts like Vedas(knowledge), Upanishads, Shruti, Smritis, Puraanas(Ancient records which are 18 in number and records of 'deities' like Shiva, Vishnu, etc. Pls note that they are not 'Gods'. There is only 1 God with many forms.), Ithasas(History like Ramayana and Mahabharata), etc. Which are still preserved knowledge and are accurate if you can interpret them that is, because they are in Sanskrit language which is also known as the proto-indo-european language and mother of all languages. Your information source is not accurate. You have to read the actual texts to understand because the language is so complex that the oppressors could not overwrite and the mistakes we're clearly visible to identify the original script when compared. Also by the way these are historic scriptures as their names say so and I believe in them.
You may disbelieve but please don't disrespect. That sums it up. For more info you can always comment back and ask questions or for links for the 'close to accurate' English translation if the scriptures.
