As a Oklahoman, I respect this type of journalism
Best Fries, not at all!
Same
I live like 1.5 miles from a bruams and I love getting a burger with a milkshake (Getting bruams tonight,so happy)
I’m also from Oklahoma
Me too I’m from Duncan Oklahoma
“We don’t know what Oklahoma is except for Troy Aikman *used* to be there” is one of the funniest things I have ever heard
As an Oklahoman that has lived away from Braum's country for a while, I miss it so much. The burgers are not my favorite, but the ice cream and breakfast is always amazing. All of their bakery items are top notch too.
Narrator: This man is wearing an In-N-Out shirt and his favorite burger will *shock* you!
Man wearing shirt: In-N-Out.
Narrator: Cut away! Cut away!
LOL!
Sarcasm
Yep, that’s what happened.
Braums I am an Oklahoma girl and I buy only braums milk because it's fresher then the grocery store
Laurie Logan I live in a shit hole called Los Angeles! count your blessings every night under that beautiful southern sky with a Braums ice cream
It doesn't spoil as quickly either, makes it that much more irresistible to get the 2 gallons for $5 deal. 🐮 ❤️
@@richardharris6058 I don't even live in town and I am so thankful for that
@@jessicah3450 I don't use that much milk but I do buy their buttermilk bread 2 for 2
I was at Braums tonight and a lady bought an entire cart full of the milk
As a 27 year California native who moved to Oklahoma, I mean it when I say that Braum’s is amazing. It’s that type of cheeseburger and crinkle cut fries that brings on full nostalgia, like one you might get at a fair or something, but with high quality ingredients. Burger versus burger... in n out is better in my opinion. More flavor. But there are plenty of times I would choose Braum’s over in n out. It hits different parts of the brain.
TOGRTHE
I go there for the ice cream fast food burgers are gross as hell
I weirdly almost like the fact that Braum’s burgers aren’t too packed with flavor yet are somehow still good. Makes me trust that it’s just good product being used to make it so they don’t have to go too over-the top with added seasonings and ingredients to make it taste good. That being said, more flavor wouldn’t hurt either. The four cheese burger is pretty solid tho.
I'm a long time Northern Californian who grew up in Lawton, OK decades ago. Whenever I vacation (in the Fall) in Oklahoma - BRAUM'S is always a destination. We love the cheeseburgers, crinkle cut french fries and ice cream sundaes! It makes us feel like teenagers again with the fantastic food. I really wish we had a Braum's in Northern California - but I understand the logistics. Keep up the great work, Braum's!!! You are awesome!
Braums also with the win on breakfast with their sausage biscuits and biscuits and gravy!
True Southern Biscuits and gravy.
This is so dramatic it's hilarious!!! they acting like they talking about archaeology LOL
Like archaeology is exiting LOL
People just don't understand until you've had a burger/chicken, dipped it in braums sauce, and finished it off with top 3 fries and their stupidly good ice cream. It's insane.
Idk who this new guy is LA Times but plz let him make more content. Super funny. And Lucas Peterson!
I grew up in SE Kansas and SW Missouri, was actually suprised to find out Braum's was not a national chain, when I talked to fellow Americans I knew when living overseas they had never heard of it. Here in Thailand we have McDs, Hardees/Carl's Jr. , Burger King, and even A&W. Took my wife to Braum's when we were visiting my family and she loved it. Wish we could bring their products here to Bangkok.
Farm to Table before anyone on the coasts knew what that was.
Beef, Shrimp, Toilet Paper - Got it! This is hilarious and just the kind of propaganda Braums needs.
You can't go grocery shopping there and not buy ice cream! 😂😂
I live in Oklahoma, and this guy is spitting facts. They have the best burgers and fries, and they also have perfect ice cream.
As a Braum's employee, I can confirm that Braum's is the best burger and ice cream In the world
Noo…
Nope
Big 🧢 ice cream is good there’s way better burger places tho even amongst fast food….& fast food burgers are gross as hell anyway
@@ShacowStorm
Yes, indeed, if you have a brain and taste!
@@kkreme4870Wrong
For burgers, I still go with Whataburger, and I have In-N-Out and Braum's where I live, too. But, if you want a killer shake with your burger, Braum's rules. A real ice cream shake mixed one at a time.
I'm guessing ur in Dallas...and I can tell u for a fact, Texas in n out tastes nothing like Cali in n out. So I cant say ur wrong based on ur sampling
@@waffles824 What? No Way. I live in CA and worked in Dallas and both In and Out taste the same. Also In and Out is far better than Whataburger.
@@waffles824 that's a myth recipes don't change just because your in Cali or Dallas. The protocol is the same wherever. In n Out is Trash in Dallas and Cali 🤣
I actually been working for Braums in pittsburg Kansas for 3 years now and got accepted today to become a manager
I just tried Braum's for the first time today in Tulsa. Being from Missouri, there only two locations I believe- Springfield and Joplin (both in southwest Missouri). I must say, I was impressed as was my wife. We both lived in California (The Bay Area) for many years, so we are well aware of In n' Out. I have to say, I agree with the reporter- "In n' Out is way overrated". Braum's, two thumbs up for sure.
I'm from Springfield and there are more throughout the area than just Springfield and Joplin. Almost every bigger towns in swmo has one... Neosho, Webb City, Monett, etc
@@toushiblouemoua2750 to add to this, Joplin has 2 now
By far The freshest fast food you will ever eat
My manager lets the lobby dresser use stale buns, talking on her phone while she makes the food. You're welcome.
@ZoroMoobs Just because your manager is a scumbag, doesn't make all Braums bad. I lived in Oklahoma for five years. How they operate is a cut above anything I had ever seen.
1:38 I lost it all 😂😂😂💀
Worked at Braums for 2 years
Know every meal in the back of my head
Cheap too that’s why I love about it
I’m starting there on Friday. Anything I should know?
You save on transport costs when 90% of locations are half a day away from the distribution center. And since they are their own supplier, they cut out the cost of the middle man.
Actually Oklahoma and California have had a connection since the dust bowl days, most of the plains farmer families moved to Cali, we have lots of family in Cali.
God, I love me some Braum's!!! And, I enjoyed this video🙂
Great writing, footage, and narration.
I’m from Oklahoma but have since moved. I miss this place so much!
I'm Sooner born and Sooner bred and when I eat its all Braum's bread
Best Burger 🍔 Out Here ❌🧢
Just got Braums yesterday because it's a block away. It is also inexpensive and you don't wait long for your food. No matter how busy they get
Braum’s does have the best hamburger of any fast food chain. They switched to 1/4 lb patties from 1/3 lb patties a few years ago, which was extremely unfortunate. I am coping within the best of my abilities (but still a little mad about it, tbh). I love the double 1/3 lb (now the inferior double 1/4 lb). My grandpa introduced me to Braum’s hamburgers in the 70s. In the 80’s I worked across the street from Braum’s headquarters in OKC. I now live in a small town in North Texas that has a Braum’s and I try to eat there at least once a month. The grocery is very convenient.
I have spent a lot of time driving up I-35 from Dallas to OKC, so I immediately recognized the aerial of the Braum’s in the last scene of this video as Pauls Valley, Oklahoma.
I too, am mad that it changed from 1/3 to 1/4 patties, the meat to bun ratio, is so important, and funny, but they dont taste the same~
I lived in Oklahoma for 2 years and have only been back couple times but god damnit I miss Braum's, I haven't been to one in about a decade, I'm gonna. Make it my mission to go to Braum's now.
RESPONSIBLE JOURNALISM AT ITS FINEST!
I am a New York State Native and I LOVE BRAUM'S!!! BEST BURGER EVER!!
Braum's "birthday cake" ice cream changed my life.
Love the narrator!!! Lol
I love Braum's, especially the icecream parllor style icecream! My favorite are also the crinkly fries, much better than McDonald's fries.
This is a cool & funny little video! Why is Oklahoma so far away? Great now I want a burger! 😕
The one in Poteau, Ok has been there for a while. I love Braums.
As a proud texan, I agree, when folks here start the in n out whataburger discussion, im like nah fk that its braums
did gustavo just say braum's is just like in-n-out with his little equation?
There aren’t many good things that come out of Oklahoma but Braum’s is one of them (and QuikTrip). Having spent several years living in California while I was in the military and eaten at In N Out plenty of times I can tell you that Braum’s beats them and Whataburger all day every day. I just wish they had them where I live so I could eat there more often.
Last time I drove thru Oklahoma I didn't notice it and realized that I was already in Texas after leaving Kansas
We have Braum's in North Texas on the east side of I-35 in Lewisville at the Fox exit. The next chance takes you off the highway into Carrollton a few miles exit Sandy Lake/Whitlock, go east on Whitlock to Josey Lane, turn right and Braum's is just past CVS and a little strip mall on the left next to a Sonic. It stays busy most evenings. Sunday evenings forget about that location because it looks like a Walmart on Black Friday.
Flat grasslands 😂😂🤣
This is probably the funniest video about burgers I've seen
It's true, it's a toss up between In and Out and Whataburger, but the real hidden gem here is Braums! I hadn't bought their milk or beef in a while, and I thought my taste buds were failing with age. Nope, it's the cold storage food they sell at the big box grocers, Braums made me remember how food is supposed to taste.
That last shot at the end is in Pauls Valley I know cause Im from around that area
I live in Oklahoma…right near a Braums. I’m so thankful for them - The BEST Milk and Greek Yogurt on the planet! Great Burgers and “Big Country Breakfast” 😊 My favorite ice creams are Rocky Road, Mint Chocolate Chip and Butter Pecan mmm
I worked at a Braum’s in Tulsa when I was a teenager in the early 1990s.
As a Californian nobody believes In N Out is the best burger in California.
I wish they would go back to the original 3rd lb burger. That was a bigger better burger than the one they serve now. Love the ice cream.
I’ve traveled the states and haven’t found a fast food burger as good as Braum’s. Best burger i’ve ever had in the world was at Cafe Skibbroen in Tønder,Denmark
It seems like Braums is always playing this easy listening jazz music in the background
I wish the one where I live in Kansas did. I miss the ones in Oklahoma that did.
Braum's is good, but I think Culver's actually has better food. I would give Culver's a slight advantage over Braum's.
@ 2:11: NO! Braums ice cream is NOT like Thrify's ice cream. Thrifiy's is HFCS-fake-flavor crap. Braums is super creamy, with real ingredients.
Agreed. Milk from their cows and fruit and nuts they produce. They own the beef cattle, etc. They were locally sourcing before it was "a thing." Farm to table with good Oklahoma ingredients.
Yep, I used to live in Tuttle/Blanchard Oklahoma now I live in Hawaii where food is soooooo expensive and they worship SPAM. Everytime I run into a fellow okie we reminisce about Braums! Love the big pink straws and cherry 🍒 limeades there too!
this is weirdly subversive and i kinda like that
My favorite burger ever is a No 6.
Go vegan.
When I lived in Cleburne Texas Braums was the place. I miss Braums.
This Burger Next to Where I work in North Dallas,I though they only own two restaurant here.
What a surprise! try the Blue Ice Cream and Burger! That guy wear Texas Shirt and said" In and Out".
What about WhataBurger?
Let's just say there was a whataburger built in my town, we have two Braum's locations, whataburger was only popular for the first couple of weeks, same as Chick-fil-A when it was first built but Braum's is still the most popular, the hype always dies out elsewhere and goes back to Braum's.
Braums eggnog is great. I'd say their ice cream is the best but blue Bell is pretty awesome too
I can only agree! The best, the number one, the Big One. ONly Braum's Burger!
I’ll have to try a burger at Braun’s. I never get around to it because I ate the ice cream first.
As an Oklahoma native I LOVE Braums burgers
Lucas Peterson, what a GREAT addition to LA TImes. Hopefully there will be more content from Lucas.
As a Californian I can honestly say In N Out Burger is over rated! The hamburger meat is nearly paper thin! Buns are usually dry! The fries & shakes are good though! In my opinion, 5 Guys wipes the floor with In N Out!
You gotta get that big country with the grande burrito and mix the contents of the burrito with the big country and smother it all in gravy 🤤
McDonald’s are the freshest even after 5 years
Is that in a Wall-E sort of way?
I remember when I lived in Tulsa I used to walk to one it was easily the best cheeseburger I’ve ever had
I agree. In and Out is overrated.
I drive long haul criss crossing the nation. I can serve witness, Braums burger and a shake is top shelf.
Rick and Morty style television becoming reality.
Been saying that for decades. Very underrated.
As a braums employee I can say that the burger Patties are frozen
They taste frozen. Are they even seasoned??
@@Carla-gd6vt nope
Its fast food, anything fast food is frozen and processed
If you're from Oklahoma, you share a lot of characteristics with certain adjoining states. Historically, we a special bond with California, which is not an adjoining state. We shipped all of our migrant workers there in the 1930's and then they were called "Okies" when they got there... It was unfortunate for us, as the heirs of the landowners of Oklahoma. We had a drought for a while in the 1930's and didn't need migrant workers... I've lived in Oklahoma all my life, I've never been to California, I wear that as a badge of honor. I've never had an In-N-Out burger. I can get one in Dallas, but I'd rather fly to Houston at one of Pappa's restaurants. If I ever go to Vegas, I'll get an In-N-Out burger. Braum's, What-A-Burger and Sonic are good enough around here... Local in Tulsa, the best burger is a Lot-a-burger.
Braums is my childhood
As a Texan l can say this… if it’s a good Braums then the food is phenomenal. If it’s a bad braums then the food is pathetic. I’ve had some terrible food at braums
I Never have anything bad
As a Braums employee Braums isn’t all that. But it is good, ice cream is top tier to the burgers.
Great job 👍🏽
Braums is my favorite place to eat! I always order #10
I used to live in Oklahoma.
I moved to Florida in 2010.
I miss Braum's Sooo Much! Id k*ll for a bag of burgers!
I'm like 16 hours away from a Braum's tho....
I'm getting that bag of burgers if it's the last thing I do!
I've had In and Out and my opinion was it was very salty and somewhat dry. That sounds like a negative, but it's tasty! That said, Braum's burgers are juicy and have just the right amount of salt.
Put it another way. I eat burgers. I like burgers. I've eaten almost every "Famous" burger there is. I usually go to other places and order the special menu options because the plain burgers they offer are kind of basic. Braum's? I just order the regular burger. It doesn't need any dressing up. It's perfection.
As a Braums worker I approve this message
hey! innout is great for its price! cool video :D
Funny journalism. I like it
Grande burrito with salsa and grape jelly on it. 🔥🔥 that nacho Burger is lit too. Guacamole, salsa, jalapenos, chips. Juicy burgers. Maaaan. 10/10 as far as fast food goes 👍
Yes Braums does sell groceries but they’re triple the price of your regular average grocery store
The food is decent (i work there, so i eat there alot), but the icecream is one of the BEST icecream, especially for the price.
I’m an Okie and I just have to say I HATE Braums.. why does it have to be in Oklahoma??? And so many locations? I am so incredibly addicted to Braums I just can’t get away from it. The perfect fast food 😩 Braums is S tier
Wonder how many Californians said 'Huh?' when they saw that this place is NOT in California. Gee, could it be that the US is more than the East and West coasts? Just a thought.
BTW- VERY partial to Kopp's Frozen Custard in Milwaukee, WI. JMHO.
Trust me people you are missing the damn thing when it comes to Braums believe me trust me They have potential major potential but they just can’t seem to do it
As an Oklahoman I’m high off this live Rosin and I’m about to enjoy some chicken strips n’d a burger
Eating Brams while watching this
Bruh I work at Braums
I love and miss Braum’s 🥹
Holiday Burger in Granada Hills,CA
John Bird it’s a must have whenever I go back home and the onion rings too and pastrami and chili fries lol
Yes indeed, ist awesome, enjoy your next trip back!
Street burger I Arlington Tx I'm telling you!
They are opening a 4th Braum's in Lubbock Texas in about as many months. I honestly don't get it. It doesn't taste at all like I remember it as a little kid. The beef in the hamburger seems sub McDonald's quality.
If they cease to exist, I can think of nothing I've seen on the menu I would miss.
It's weird that people like to trash In and Out. Their ingredients taste real and fresh and the price is more than fair.
Braum's taste like trash. Worse than trash. Burger King is superior to Braum's
Burger King is absolutely disgusting with that fake "flame-broiled" flavor the put in the patties.
Braums is the best even over Whataburger I wish they were in Houston
2 reasons to like Braums:
Inexpensive to eat delicious ice cream.
They list protein content on the menu.
Braums gives wattaburger a serious run for its money in n out doesn’t even compare
TOP VIDEO!! Best burger and so much more :-)
I live in Tuttle myself
..Braum's is indeeD the bestest-yet, you didn't spend enuff time (and detail) showin' the rest of the 🌍 whY it is sOo freakin' amazeballs!!!
I love Braums ❤
