No, you failed to understand the conversation, he said that the guy that bought his watch for 210k had a 2021, inferring that because its newer than the other 2019 watch that sold for 245k, that its worth +60k from its purchase price, he just added 25k to take into account the 2 year difference.

For those prices, you could buy a luxury SUV. Compare the engineering and material that goes into the making of such a vehicle and the amount of work and material that go into some of these watches. Highly, highly inflated market. I think Rolexes are better priced.
I am in the same mindset. How many ways can you get three hands to tell the time? And what justifies 200K? Let's see some watches with planets or other astronomical indicators (like Patek Phillipe has)...something different that justifies the price.
