What’s with the weird facial expressions when talking? Squinting of the eyes, closing the eyes and shaking the head, wiping the face and mouth. Very bizarre! Mr. Marc seems worried. Did Marc La Mont Hill ever attend a Diddy party? He’s doing a lot of denying???? Stay tuned.
The promotion part went a little long (i.e. showing her promo video), but I did enjoy the information she provided- could have just been shorter, an episode on Sundays or a pre-recorded conversation that he can premiere on his channel on days he is not live.
My issue is that he said he would go over what is happening in Lebanon and the War on Gaza, only to turn around and give us a segment on Diddy and was like "bye, i'll give it to you all tomorrow". Is it NIght School or no? Many of us subscribed to this page to learn more about what is happening in the East. Not salacious news about celebrities - we really can get that on other channels. He's been skipping out on those reports that drew so many of us in, I am afraid the channel is losing its fire for me. I appreciate Dr. Hill's genius but I don't really care for his commentary on pop culture topics when he says he is going to give us updates on Gaza, Palestinians etc everyday.
Love your channel Dr. Hill, I just wish you wouldn't have people on who use the channel for self-promotion.
So many wonderful, smart people doing podcasts are making very little. And have no access to mainstream media. I think having good principled podcasters introduce us to other people doing good work is not only inspiring, it do expands our awareness of what's out there. Of the dozen or so podcasts I follow, I'd say over half came from me being introduced to them through a channel I trusted. I love that. Thank you for your work, Dr. Hill.

I agree with you, but If someone has a financial stake in what they're promoting, their perspective is inherently biased. I don't mind people promoting their podcasts, but I do take issue with individuals telling Black women that hospitals aren't safe spaces for them, especially when it's revealed that they have a financial incentive behind those claims. This creates unnecessary fear, and Black communities are already overwhelmed with misinformation, especially when it comes to healthcare. Unfortunately there's no shortage of grifters to prey on this fact. I'm not accusing any guest of the program specifically of peddling misinformation, but i'd appreciate it if it's made clear that their opinions are their own, and they hold a financial stake regarding the claims that they make, if they are going to self-promote. Especially when it comes to matters as serious as healthcare decisions.
