I just spent $30 on 3/4" allthread (which is too small) and I've 2hrs trying to get my wheel bearings out. No chisel I had was big enough to spread the 3/4" allthread. I tried shims and eventually I ground down a 1/2" bolt into a chisel hoping that would work. After all that and well over a dozen tries on both sides I now have to pay to get my bearings out. So glad it was so easy for you
Sorry you're having so much trouble. I have used that method dozens of times and it has always worked. I never needed larger than 3/4" threaded rod though. You may need the blind bearing puller in this particular case.
you have NO idea how much your 'special tool' idea is gonna save me time... Holy Chit! gonna make one real soon as I do bearings a lot and always fight with that first one. I have several homemade 'bent' chisels that work, but not like that.... Thanx
He's very reasonable and does top rate work. Give him a call to discuss - I think you'll be pleasantly surprised at what he'll charge to paint your bike.
My man! Not only a CB-F owner, but a 2nd Gen Corvair owner as well. Great video, BTW.
Thanks, Richard! I hope to do some Corvair videos in the future. Such great cars!

Thanks for the video Tom. Very big help! So much easier than we thought.
can't get much easier than that, thanks for the video Tom!
This might be even easier than using the slide hammer tool. Very good to know!
