Good afternoon i am new to following you and i am very please with all your work its very nice and pretty . I was watching a video on you making your blueberry soap and i was wondering if you don’t mind me asking what oils you use to make the frosting thanks .
Thank you for your feedback! I'm new to youtube so every comment means a lot to me. My frosting oils consist of cocoa butter, grape seed oil, olive oil, and coconut oil. I'm actually planning on doing a "how to make soap frosting" video very soon so stay tuned! :)
For my frosting I usually get both my oils and lye water anywhere between 60-70 degrees. The colder the temp for the frosting, the quicker it'll firm up. For the "base" part of the soap (the bottom part without the frosting) I like my lye water and oils anywhere from 70-80 degrees. I like to soap at cooler temps because it gives me more time to do designs & swirls and makes the soap more fluid. I do not go below 70 degrees for the base part. Hope this answered your question.
ughhh i forgot the name of the actual brand, I'm sorry! I have several but the ones I use the most are blue plastic ones that I got from Walmart in the cake aisle. These just work the best for me because they're the perfect size at the mouth. I also have silver metal Walton ones but I don't use those ones as often because they're too small at the mouth. @@sierramosier9092
Ah okay, that is what I believe I have been running into are the smaller mouths. I see some soapers use smaller mouths but I guess their recipe is more fluid? No idea, I am not that experienced yet. Super novice haha. Thank you!

You keep your frosting at about 70 before you put the lye in? Do you soap that low for everything?

@@Sunshyne.Scents which piping tips are you using? I purchased some but I suspect they are to narrow at the mouth.
