@@mattrogo7999 Hahahahahahahahahahahhahahahaha at that idea. Dumbasses will drive for $2 a ride what makes you think they are smart enough to not drive for a week? The companies take advantage of idiots plain and simple.
So what's the purpose of having commercial insurance if these arbitration agreements covers them from being sued?? Why are drivers paying into Uber and Lyft's commercial insurance??
You need to educate yourself on insurance laws. In order to have commercial auto insurance, you need to have personal auto insurance. It's not one or the other. Commercial is for business and personal is for personal. Read how TNC requirements and TCP requirements. Then try to get commercial auto insurance without a business and see how far you will get.
Its easy to blame Uber for compensation rates but in reality, insurance rates have to go up and both the customer and the driver are affected. The solution is to partner with a taxi company. You don't have to worry about wear and tear. This risks are the same but you can't not pick people up though. You have to pick up people even reservations, even drunk people.
If uber is not openly putting a opt out , then it can't be legal. Drivers just want to drive, not thinking that uber is tricking them. Most drivers think they have no other choice
Uber gets away with it because you contract to it. The only legal recourse would be class action lawsuit for deceiving arbitration. A contract must be signed by informed consent.
Everyone can see Uber right now in small claims court. We were forced to sign the new TOs under duress. In other words in order to turn our app on and earn money we had to sign the TOs or we cannot turn the app on. Any any contract signed under duress arbitration Clause means nothing
I’m pretty sure Uber is not paying out the $210 for 200 rides to EV drivers. They are using the algorithm to ofer rides consistently less than the average in order to circumvent the $210 payout! Please help me prove it.
I watched a clip where you questioned why is Uber employing 33K I have an answer and the proof why Uber needs tens of thousands in reality they’re two times more the number given by you and I want to share some evidence if you email me or share your phone number
You can search it up. It's been all over the news. Her and her husband got into an Uber, the Uber driver crashed, leaving them BOTH serverly injured with millions worth of hospital bills from surgery after surgery after surgery between the both of them. It's was bad.

Uber CEO use to be at Expedia and i was horrible there as well
Doesnt make sense when the rider pays for commercial insurance as we drivers do as well. That is what insurance is for.

@buddysteve5543 that the real question why are the drivers paying the insurance. That should come out of there pockets. Strange
So much for that so called Uber million dollar policy while forcing drivers to have they're own insurance. Uber is the lowest of rh the low
And half of the wage goes to pay for it

Sue Uber sorry Google Assistant
How do you opt out?
Chris is correct. How did someone else waive my rights away?
I would argue Uber Eats is different and separate from Uber rideshare.
I so confused … why do riders pay for insurance
show us how to opt out
@sergio this x 10000

Need a nationwide law allowing arbitration opt out with simple check box on first page of t&cs.
What does Uber eats have to do with an X accident?
Linked account, blanket terms

That's why they need to pay by rate card.
So how do Riders or UberEats customers 🤔 Opt out of the arbitration clause?
I guarantee if you opt out you don't get rides anymore
What about the million dollar insurance
