I agree with you entirely! Sewing a few - boxed! Sewing 70 for the entire staff - not boxed! I also agree with you about leaving the packaging on the tissues when giving away!
I like the boxed but both are just as practical. We never make just for ourselves so it’s what we feel like in that moment when we are assembly line sewing. And yes I have made 40 for a bridal shower 😊. Thanks for sharing!
Thank you for the great ideas and tutorial. Personally, I prefer the look of the one with the boxed corners……when I am ready to make several, I will streamline the process by taking 5 minutes to grab a used up gift card to make a simple custom template for the boxed corners. However, that’s just the way my brain works! lol
It's a thread saver. Some people cut their scraps into 2 1/2" squares, and bigger. They use them as leaders and make a bonus a uilt as they do their other projects.
Boxed or basic corners - which will you try?
I like the boxed corners.
Me too 🥰
I like both but prefer the box corners. 😊
Me too - unless I'm making a lot, then faster is better. (And I hope the recipients never see the boxed corners 😉)

Are you going to sew 70?? That should use a lot of scraps if that’s the plan 🥳
I did! Sent them to my daughter to share with the staff where she teaches - they were well received!
@@noodleroland1517 Very nice! 🥰
I like the boxed corners. Very nice!
I agree they are worth the extra effort!

That's amazing - probably the best favor anyone got at a bridal shower! 👰🏻♀
I like the boxed. Can't wait to make this. Thanks for the tutorial!
You're very welcome - happy sewing!
I like the boxed corner. I learn so much from you, thank you for the extra tips. I've made a few of these with a tab and hook.
You're very welcome - I need to do tab & hook too!
Just came across this and I set out to make one and finished 4 in no time. I like the boxed corner. Easy directions and very cute when completed.
Quick projects are just what we need sometimes, right? I’m a boxed corner fan too 🥰
I prefer the boxed style.
Me too!
Hello! I made several tissue holders for Easter and making boxed corners never crossed my mind. Now I will give it a try. Thank you for sharing!
You’re very welcome! Did you add them to Easter baskets? That would be a fun extra 🐰
@ArtistTaraReed yes, that is exactly what I did. I added them to Eater baskets as an extra, personal treat in the recipient's favorite color.
@@suzannejambon4736 Love it!
I would do the boxed corners.
boxed corners!
Ditto!

@@ArtistTaraReed thank you 🤗❣️

Interesting idea - thanks for sharing!
Boxed
Agree!
Boxed
ditto! 📦
Do you have measurements for a full size box of tissues?
I don't but will add it to my idea list - thx!
I like the boxed corners for myself, but giving as a gift to a non-sewer, I wouldn't bother; they would never know the difference!
very true - just don't let them see yours! 😉
Q: after you sew the boxed corners, do you trim the little extra bulk of fabric or just leave it?
@@Bogey_and_bobbins I had to go double check but I just leave it - it's so tiny you won't know it's there
Thank you.
