It's not hard, the way to keep 100 deliveries in a rolling 30 day period is complete 100 deliveries, and keep it up. It's easy for me, a person can do just 4 a day and have 120 in 30 days. I just don't understand why it's that hard.

If you know what your doing shopping orders are much better pay. This yr ive part timed 1400 deliveries and about 900 shopping orders. I get those done on avg 10 mins early, getting me to the next one quicker. Often i have 3 orders in my car and am hitting close to 30 an hr. Its way better than the restaurant roulette for having your order ready. Dont overthink just go out and do. It will get done.
Today is Monday and S&D are my bread and butter today, last week most of my day consisted of these, I completed 15 deliveries on DoorDash, only 2 were food deliveries, the rest were shopping.
Sounds almost similar to my routine with Shipt 🤣 On DD shopping orders, how big are the orders you usually accept? Are there lots of items? And do they pay single or double digits?! Just curious because I received an email about prioritizing me for shopping orders and wanted to know if it was even worth it.
I love shopping on DoorDash with my dashpass SO much, but I try to very very mindful and considerate about what I am ordering, how much and how heavy. Cause people suck and I don’t want to be “that guy” to dashers. It’s just so nice for an over thinkers like me to browse what I actually want and need. I love building my cart! Modern technology is insane
You should be able to complete on average 2.5 deliveries per hour. 100 deliveries divided by 2.5 equals 40 hours. This is 10 hours of dashing per week in a month. This is extremely easy.
Last three weeks were 11 hours, 8 hours 5 min and 8 hours 14 min of Dash time respectively. Currently at 73 deliveries in the last 30 days, should hit it this week!
@@andress7119 very true, that is why it is necessary to learn your market so you are not working say slow times, and the only way is to dash as often as you can early on so those determinations can be made
In my market we can sign up to prioritize or not prioritize shop and deliver. You'll still get them but not nearly as often. At least with uber you can turn the option off
I do my shopping delivery on Uber and it's great. Not only is the base pay decent, but the tips that come in is pretty good as well. Especially since, at least in my area , the distance from the shop to the customers is maybe a few miles. So, the time it takes is longer but I get more per hour and less driving in wear and tear
unfortunately what works in one market & may not always work in another, my market is about 70 - 90 sq miles with most deliveries occurring within a 35 to 45sq mile range
When I worked for doordash in BC I was a top Dasher I don't know anything about badges but I sure in the heck made more money there than I do in Alberta the people in Alberta man they don't even tip two-dollar tips$2.25 tip they just don't understand that some people use this money to make a living on it's so disappointing it takes me 10 to 15 minutes to pick my delivery up and takes me at least 10 to 15 minutes to drop it off this sucks I never thought I'd say it but I really hate my job😢
What you were saying about doing a ton of deliveries and your % rate doesn't go up, but if you decline 2 orders it goes down by 2 percentage pts is true. However, I go to an area where the deliveries will be short. I call it "THE BIG SUCK," but it has to be done.
To hell w/ shop & deliver. It starts off nice when they mix in a sweet high pay shop order for a few items with regular food orders here & there. But after awhile all they started sending me was s&d orders, some took waay too much time bcuz the store might've been out of alot of items or have them located in weird sections. Got to the point where i was losing in the long run doing it so i turned that shyt off. Now 2day i made $180 in 6 hrs, now that's how i like to spend my time not grocery shopping for barely half of that much money.
I don't like when customers add items when I'm one item away from finishing shopping at Target. I'm fine when they add while I'm in the middle of it but keep in mind that it delay expected delivery time by just a tad bit.
i take three days off a week and avg 7 work days to knock 100 and i like the stacked orders as well, freaking great when two $7+ offers get stacked, knocked out in 20 minutes with another offer being thrown at ya just after you have completed the stacked, great to run vs hunt peck, drive to hot spot areas

I think so too. Doordash even more than the other delivery apps has been getting pushed hard with legislation to classify drivers as employees, so I personally suspect the platinum status is their way of trying to get ahead of that in states that haven't legislated them yet, creating a tier that's defacto closer to employee and the rest are the "traditional" gig worker pool. I haven't seen it talked about all that much before your comment but that is my personal theory
@@fmstark5078 I'm in Ca so zero cherry picking right now my ar is 95% I only turn down the ones that don't make sense and double shopping orders after multiple problems paying with redcard. Doordash doesn't consider item count in shop ane delivers it's only dollars to miles. Sometimes I'll see something like $8.50 for 1.2 miles but it's 20 items and says high paying which is not the case. More items = more headaches
Also if you have activated your Shoppers card and you don't want any shopper orders, you can call customer service and they have to take a few minutes but they can deactivate those offers so you don't see them anymore. I learn this because I did get a couple of Shopper offers by accident, called customer service and let them know and they deactivated my shopper leads
As a full time dasher, I'm looking forward to this new program. Over the past few months my market has become oversaturated to the point where I don't get that many high paying offers anymore. I always felt like Top Dasher needed its own priority for orders and Platinum does seem like the answer. Hopefully.
what is consider to be a full time dasher? I am a Top Dasher as well, last three weeks the offers have been a lot better.....caveat, but then a few OGs that i had met over the past 6 months were unhappy with DD, talking of quitting, their attitude "it aint like it used to be, maybe partly responsible.... 1 OG had 5300 LTD's and said he been dashing for 5 years, I do 24hrs/4 day/wk, avg 220+ deliveries a month, I accept all, except @ a McDonald's when there are 14 cars in line at the drive thru or 17 the next weekend after that, so on occasion i do judiciously unaasign At first to achieve 100 it took 10 of my work days, then 8, last month 7, this month i might git r done in 6, but that's 16+ per day & so far my avg is 15 + deliveries per work day this month. we shall see if it holds, so 100 can fortunately be obtained (in my market) usually in seven days, @ 6 hr/day, just under two of my work weeks, Oh and whoever has implied that stacked orders are detrimental (quit the friggin bean counting) think again!! one trip, 2 deliveries get 4 stacked, 8 deliveries vs time it takes to do 4 maybe 5 individual offers in sometimes half (rare) to 3/4 the amount of time it takes to do 8, again in my market The ability to schedule days in advance, the capability to dash anytime gives a dasher the freedom that everyone espouses but they just dont want to put the time in too reap the rewards, It appears the tier levels make it more fair to the top dashers who have earned the right to get the best offers. Why should a wanna-be cherry picking dasher get a a slam dunk take it to the bank High dollar offer if they wont even do less than 100 dashes a month, or you could try as i have previously mentioned in the comments that @freedomfirst4489 mentions below to get 100 it just aint that hard, really how much time do you want to waste cherry picking offers?? you see what happens, no buffer when...... yes it really isnt worth accepting the offer or unassigning from it,
My car mileage is really creeping up at a high rate. In my situation I calculate all that in. It’s more worth it for me to do less mileage, but chose the better dollar to mile ratio. That means skipping some so my acceptance rate stays low and platinum as it is now isn’t likely for me.
hi Mike love your videos I learn a lot from them, today I learned that the tier program started in the cincinnati market and went from top dasher to platinum dasher on my dasher app, it happened right in the middle of my day shift run today. Got all high numbers. So I think it will work out for me :D
I dash 8 to 12 hr a day i declining 4.00 ones im down to 66 percent because im refer to take them they keep sending me $4 ones and $5 ones I can't live off of that I am going back to BC in the couch and Valley and get back up to my VIP status if I can
Walgreens and CVS staff in my market hate to be asked by drivers where things are. Esp after they haven’t attempted to find it themselves. I’ve seen some refuse.
I hope this tier program isn't as terrible as it looks. It's coming to my area on the 15th. We're going to need an 80 percent acceptance rate and 150 deliveries on the monthly rolling period.
So have a Question Mike. Do you have to schedule all the time. I have to schedule and I can’t ever just go dash when I want to. I have to wait all the time for a spot to come Available. I wish they would just do away with the Scheduling. We should be able to dash anytime we want without having to schedule
I don't mind shop and deliver if the items/order is straight forward but it seems most of the times its this unusual items or stuff thats out of stock etc.
shopndeliver sucks when the customer is home sitting on their couch changing the order, rejecting substitutions and trying to chat with you while you are shopping. numerous times I just cancelled it at walmart, left the cart sitting in place and walked out the door
I'm glad I don't have the new rewards in my market where its not rolling but man I miss catering orders I use to get at least 4 a week now I get only shop and delivers and half of them are awful because of no tips
OMG I’ve been getting wrong address almost everyday now! I got flagged once as well because the customer called after I was on another delivery and cussed me out so I had to instruct him to contact support 😖
I know you've been told this before, but just stop doing the shop and delivers by stating your doordash card is lost or stolen. Then you won't get any shop and deliver orders.
I don't like that the customer can add an item while you're in the middle of a shop and deliver. If the customer doesn't make sure their list is complete before ordering, that's on them.
I dont think the problem is the 30days thing. Ive only worked 5 days this month and im at 80 deliveries.
8 месяцев назад+1
I took an order on spark today that has officially changed my mind. It was a 23 item shop n deliver for $48.50. I had such an issue with the out of stock items since this customer wanted to be told about everything so he could pick he's substitute product, but you need to tell him what was on the shelf and send a picture. So my new rule is I won't take any shop n deliver over 5 items. I don't think it's worth it. What do yall think?
DD isnt being transparent about the AR rating, I was at 59% made my first delivery went to 60% only declined 2 orders all day and im still at 60%. We should be able too see our past deliveries,I believe DD is cheating us with our AR!
I think its stupid we lose an entire massive shift if we arent on AND delivering within 30 mins of shift. And new tier system keeps you from getting new shifts or dashing now. Major bs.
Just a question I got an email that says LA Valley new Dasher rewards said 150 a month to be a top dasher. Do you know anything about that anybody thanks.
I work for doordash and I tell ya it sucks I've been with them for almost two years pay has been bad and delivery sucks and the badges I've never heard of them
I stick to cherry picking and my AR is 20% or less. If more drivers would decline low pay orders then all drivers would be paid more. And definitely never do earn per hour. I just don’t see the benefits of their tiers other than “dash now”. If you schedule a week in advance it shouldn’t matter anyway
Yah that was my life. I was always TD and did that for a month. Finally I gave up and went to other platforms. My hourly went down $10hr from TD saw now LOPs, ridiculous
Mike its.not that difficult with shop and deliver u just don't like it and make it more of a big deal than it is. The delays in stores is the same as red lights
To get catering orders, you have to reach platinum status and apply for large order program. Invest in an XXXL insulated delivery bag because you will need it for verification.
A gold dasher really? So they don't have the top dasher program anymore where they give me $4 and then give bigger orders to people who keep rejecting orders until they get a good one. But your acceptance rate must stay above a certain percentage to remain a top dasher. Bro I would be a diamond dasher and it would not matter the company screws such people good luck with thay
It’s not hard to do! In 2 weeks time I’m almost to platinum (15 runs to go)! I don’t waste my time with shop and deliver. Quit screwing around and drive!
Hi Mike what is your regular job besides door dash ? Thanks , also what happens on really low paying orders if no one accepts, I've always been curious about that? Thanks
I’ve maintained a gold status for a couple of weeks but after 5pm on the last two Saturdays knocked me down to silver because I was declining. Today was the first silver dash and I had a stacked DG order that was a couple of miles and together 30$. 18 items total.
Feels like the least amount of control I've had as a Dasher. Kind of walled off high-paying offers only for Dasher Rewards participants with high AR. I'll be doing the math after all this to compare cherry picking vs DR
Store knowledge does matter. I typically look for a dollar per unit. Ex: if ther are 20 items but 10 of them are limes then it should pay at least 11$ then consider milage. I never look at the time. I get orders that say 30 minutes all day and get them done in less than 5 INCLUDING checkout most days.
I've just gotten to the point where i just.. accept everything and i make bank every day. Today I got Hourly Rate for Active Time $52.20 & Hourly Rate for Total Dash Time $29.39

I don't have to turn off shop n pay for me about a week ago they just stopped showing up and I had been added to the preferred list too.
What was your experience like with shopping orders?
Did you enjoy it?
Was the pay decent?
@DemetriusKaneDTG it's not bad. I don't enjoy it no. Base pay is usually higher still have to be picky.
I'm glad I don't have the new rewards in my market where its not rolling but man I miss catering orders I use to get at least 4 a week now I get only shop and delivers and half of them are awful because of no tips
Had CVS order where every single item was locked up! Never again.
I was doing 90 deliveries per week at 70+% and now, in the same time for the same money, I'm doing 70 deliveries at 23%
Ran into the same problem about 7 weeks ago.. been taking everything to run my acceptance up and then burn it down on the weekend
I'm gold status too I think reaching platinum is a waste of time plus I never really received high paying orders while on platinum anyway
When you post Shift Time, is that Dash Time or Active Time?
Dont they give you the aisle number?
Mike u don't drive for long. Go out and deliver for 12 13 hours in one day
If I drive on the hourly pay option, no Shop and Deliver orders come in. Shopping takes a lot of time
OMG I’ve been getting wrong address almost everyday now! I got flagged once as well because the customer called after I was on another delivery and cussed me out so I had to instruct him to contact support 😖
When do I get to schedule now when I have a 20% acceptance rate? it used to be 3 PM
I know you've been told this before, but just stop doing the shop and delivers by stating your doordash card is lost or stolen. Then you won't get any shop and deliver orders.
ITS FINALLY SETTING IN FOR YOU. WELCOME TO TIER PROGRAM.
Should be Platinum this week or early next week depending how much time I have to dash, stay tuned!
@@YourDriverMikei plan on it
Mike, for fun… do earn by time for a video and enjoy the restaurant orders and no shop and deliver.
I don't like that the customer can add an item while you're in the middle of a shop and deliver.
If the customer doesn't make sure their list is complete before ordering, that's on them.
i agree to a point, if however the time clock starts over i see no issue and the few times this has happened to me the tip was a decent amount
I dont get good shop n delivers like i was before what to do
I dont think the problem is the 30days thing. Ive only worked 5 days this month and im at 80 deliveries.
THEY ARE 100% !!!!!!!! THEY WILL NEVER SHOW US
Dude, you're not even making 25 an hour, so how is any of this worth it?
I think its stupid we lose an entire massive shift if we arent on AND delivering within 30 mins of shift. And new tier system keeps you from getting new shifts or dashing now. Major bs.
Not sure why you're waiting for dasher preferences to stop doing shop and delivers since you hate them. Just mark your red card as lost.
True, but I'm just not gonna touch anything near account fraud. I'm not losing my account, not again 😂
@@YourDriverMike im confused ?..just opt out
The best shop and delivery i had came out to 70 dollars but took it believe 90 minutes and
Good to know… I never activated my shopping card and, now I don’t ever plan to.
Can't you just say you lost your red card and bever activate the new one tbey send. Viola. No shop and deliver. I don't get ANY shop and deliver
Just a question I got an email that says LA Valley new Dasher rewards said 150 a month to be a top dasher. Do you know anything about that anybody thanks.
I work for doordash and I tell ya it sucks I've been with them for almost two years pay has been bad and delivery sucks and the badges I've never heard of them
I contacted support and requested to opt out of shop and deliver and the granted my request.
I'm at platium but my ar won't go past 70
Yah that was my life. I was always TD and did that for a month. Finally I gave up and went to other platforms. My hourly went down $10hr from TD saw now LOPs, ridiculous
Mike its.not that difficult with shop and deliver u just don't like it and make it more of a big deal than it is. The delays in stores is the same as red lights
Oops, I seemed to have lost my red card 😉 ...and now I can never have those shop and deliver orders? I am sooooo sad 😉 !
loyalty and being golden, platinum or whatever isnt worth it. the key is to multi app. i do uber x, uber eats, lyft, DD, roadie, spark and EMPOWER
What do we need to get catering orders.
To get catering orders, you have to reach platinum status and apply for large order program.
Invest in an XXXL insulated delivery bag because you will need it for verification.
@@DemetriusKaneDTG but doordash calls you right?you just can't irder a bag an be like hey I got my bag where ate my orders.
@@VictorVasquez-j5l
No! You do it in the app!
Found on ratings window.
You have to get bag and upload photos to get approved.
There isnt a way to like say i dont have my red card so dont send me shop and deliveres
I’m sooo glad I’ve had no shop n delivers
It SCREWS the dasher no doubt !!!!
5 deliveries a day for 30 days = 150 deliveries.
Where are the shorts lol?
I think its your area doordash keeps giving you shop and pay orders haha.
Thanks
Hows dashing in your BMW 😂❤
I’ve maintained a gold status for a couple of weeks but after 5pm on the last two Saturdays knocked me down to silver because I was declining.
Today was the first silver dash and I had a stacked DG order that was a couple of miles and together 30$. 18 items total.
I hate shop & deliver
I really hope DD drops this trash program.
Feels like the least amount of control I've had as a Dasher. Kind of walled off high-paying offers only for Dasher Rewards participants with high AR. I'll be doing the math after all this to compare cherry picking vs DR
@@YourDriverMike i am a man of my word $50 says cherry picking loses
Store knowledge does matter. I typically look for a dollar per unit. Ex: if ther are 20 items but 10 of them are limes then it should pay at least 11$ then consider milage. I never look at the time. I get orders that say 30 minutes all day and get them done in less than 5 INCLUDING checkout most days.
Get rid of shop & deliver Too much time... If you want to grind acceptance rate, McDonalds breakfast is the way to go. super fast.
Yes if there 15$
Or higher
I'm in a small area and I have to get above 69
Shout-out to Pittsburgh - I LOVE your content. Thank you.
Thank you!
Oh and this $4 delivery is bull
I've just gotten to the point where i just.. accept everything and i make bank every day. Today I got Hourly Rate for Active Time $52.20 & Hourly Rate for Total Dash Time $29.39
Someone either has severe constipation or having a colonoscopy. 😖
try harder mike with platinum you can receive 20+ dollar tips
Remove your red card
I don’t love Door Dash
