Many Many thanks Doctor. രോഗികളുടെ കാര്യത്തിൽ നല്ല ശ്രദ്ധ കൊടുക്കുന്ന ഒരു ഡോക്ടറിന് മാത്രമേ ഇങ്ങിനെയുള്ള ഉപദേശങ്ങൾ കൊടുക്കാൻ കഴിയുകയുള്ളു. ഞാൻ ഈ അടുത്തകാലത്താണ് ഡോക്ടറുടെ വീഡിയോകൾ ശ്രദ്ധിച്ചു തുടങ്ങിയത്. ഞാൻ കഴിഞ്ഞ കുറെ വര്ഷങ്ങളായി ഡയബീറ്റീസിന് മരുന്ന് കഴിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇപ്പോൾ കുറച്ചു വര്ഷങ്ങളായി ഇന്സുലിനാണ് എടുക്കുന്നത്. ഇന്സുലിനെ എടുക്കുന്നതിനെ കുറിച്ചുള്ള ഡോക്ടറുടെ ഉപദേശം വളരെ വിലപ്പെട്ടതാണ് ഞങ്ങൾക്ക്. ഞാൻ ഇപ്പോൾ വിദേശത്താണ്.ഡോക്ടർ തന്ന പോലെ ഒരു ഉപദേശം ഒരു ഡോക്ടറും തരുമെന്ന് തോന്നുന്നില്ല. കുറച്ചു വര്ഷം മുൻപ് നാട്ടിൽ വന്നപ്പോൾ തിരുവനന്തപുരത്തുള്ള ഒരു ഡോക്ടറുടെ പരസ്യം കണ്ടു അവിടെ പോയിരുന്നു. പരിശോധനക്കും ചെക്കപ്പിനും ശേഷം ഞാൻ കഴിക്കുന്ന മരുന്നുകളെ കുറിച്ചെല്ലാം പറഞ്ഞപ്പോൾ എന്നോട് പറഞ്ഞത് ഇനി ഈ മരുന്നുകളെല്ലാം നിർത്തി ഇവിടന്നു തരുന്ന മരുന്നുകൾ മാത്രം കഴിച്ചാൽ മതിയെന്നാണ്. അതോടു കുടി ഞാൻ അവിടത്തെ ചികിത്സയും നിർത്തി. ഞാൻ ഇവിടെ ഒരു ഡോക്ടറുടെ നിർദ്ദേശപ്രകാരം ഇൻസുലിൻ എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുകയാണ്. My immense thanks to Doctor for sharing such a valuable information. All these years my brother was administering insulin to our mother on back of her arms and she used to express pain. But today morning after having seen the video changed the place to abdomen.

Actually as described insulin has to be taken only on stomach. But I think in instruction manual it is advised that can be taken on hand and legs without any explanation.
I have a good suggestion. For ladies if they have stretch marks do the insulin on that stretch marks. Otherwise when taking insulin on stomach just turn the needle. In both ways there will be no pain at all. I am taking insulin and from my experience I have written this.
Thanks for ur feedback. In the instruction manual, it's mentioned that u can take insulin injections in the thighs and arms too. But it's best taken in the lower abdomen (belly).

Itching could be because of contaminants on the skin entering the body thru the injection site.
About pain in the ears following insulin injection, I am sorry I don't know.

Yes, this is a problem in some people. In order to minimise the chances of this, please rotate the injection site. Kindly discuss this with ur Dr or a Diabetes Educator (if available).

U haven't provided any details. However, I assume you are a type 1 diabetic. Insulins are best taken in the lower abdomen. Thanks for ur query, Doctor.
