I learned about you from Danny Harmon. As I watched I figured this guy has to be a news or creative services shooter, which you confirmed in this video. I’m retired from TV engineering and was once a TV studio and remote camera operator in my youth! I recognize good content when I see it and yours is among the very best. I’ve even got my wife anxiously waiting for your next new upload. Please keep up the good work. If you want an adventure, check out the East Broad Top Railroad in Rock Hill Furnace, PA. You could shoot a great deal of content there. Or check out the Reading and Blue Mountain Railroad out of Reading, PA. They are very rail fan friendly.
You do a great job of telling stories and keeping us informed. I really appreciate your videos and the quality that you apply to them. Can’t wait until the next video.
This video has helped me figure out some things. First off is that I should wait until I either get a job or I start making some money off my channel. Its oblivious that the job will work way better. I also noticed that I can really just try out the cameras you may have laying around the house. Maybe you will find that great camera that was just within arms reach for so many years.
A frequently used line from "The Guns of Will Sonnett" (an ABC program from 1967 to 1969) was "NO BRAG -- JUST FACT." That applies to you taking the time to show us some of the equipment you use. Of course, all the professional equipment is of little value unless it's in the hands of a skilled user. I recently joined the other 22,600+ other subscribers to your channel. I'm making my back through your older videos and am always glad to see when a new one is posted.
Really nice video! The drone shots are the best! Hopefully I someday have some as good as yours. Speaking of drones can you make a video talking about drone use near trains and if you've ever been warned about it? Keep up the good work!
Thanks for sharing. I’m on a very low budget so I’m using my dated iPhone 8 Plus a GoPro Hero 7 & 5 black. Just picked up an Osmo Pocket 2 capture collection new for $80! My next goal is a DJI Drone. I look forward to watching your railroad videos.
I use my cell phone for shooting photos and video, edit on a laptop, and enjoy seeing each video getting better... since as you said (our cameras, computers, software) "are just tools. The more we work with it, the better our skills get, no matter how expensive or inexpensive our tools. Thanks for sharing!
Im stuck what camera to buy in 2024 .. Now runs with Go Pro 8 Zoom H6 Imma kinda interestd in Nikon p1000 ! Just still lookinh for what camera to buy!!!😮
Thanks for sharing your thoughts and experience with the audience and it was great to meet you in the late part of 2020 at Bridge, thanks again and you have my support.
Great Video! I always look forward to the videos you post! I have some camcorder questions i was wondering if you could help me with, i currently use the Sony ax53r i was thinking of upgrading to the Sony Z90 which i believe is similar to the one you use. My questions are is there a big learning curve if i upgrade from the Sony ax53 to the Z90? Also do you color grade your videos or is the footage you post straight from your camcorder? I like the color quality from Sony camcorders versus other brand camcorders. I appreciate any help with this, thank you in advance.
I really love your videos. I heard that the Central of Georgia is in the Atlanta area. But I’ll have to check again. Do you know if those special tripods will work for a Sony A300?
@@steelcityrailfan4808 Thanks for the heads up! Sorry I'm a little late seeing this. It was working between Chamblee and Inman for several weeks. I'll keep an eye out for it!
Great setup! Your videos always look so professional.
Thanks!!

The Equipment looks very sophisticated and expensive. Thanks for ALL your Time and Efforts. 👍
Thank you for watching!
I used audacity at school and it is a great recording platform and shows it in your videos. Keep it up
Thanks! It's amazing how much great free software is out there.

Thanks! Yes, I eventually plan to make a video about flying drones near trains. I can share a few experiences I've had.
Way over my head but enjoy how you explain the insight to the other parts of making these video's. Keep up the grand work.
Thanks!
Thanks for sharing great ideas

Thank you for making the time to explain all your kit and approach. The end results are superb every time

Amazing. All I use is a Canon Vixia HF R800 camcorder, my iPhone 8 plus, and iMovie. Your gear puts me to shame! :)
Nothing wrong with that. That's basically all I was using for a long time.
Perfect video man

@@v12productions Your Welcome and I look forward to seeing you again and you inspire me more to explore.
Really a great look at your setup! I definitely enjoyed. I do have a question if you don’t mind answering how much was the camera itself
Thanks! The camera was just over $2,000. Too much, but it's a great piece of technology!
@@v12productions oh okay, that camera is priceless with how well you use! Lee up the great work!

Ok, it was reported on the heritage unit app 10 hours ago in Atlanta, GA on NS 203 headed to Inman yard

Hi
Yet it seems like the crappy, shaky vertical videos get all the views.
True. I'm kind of old-school and won't go record anything without my tripod.
Tell me about it, lol
