My memories living with B&O products have been wonderful right up to today. Right now using a Beocenter 2 and Penta 3 speakers listening to this commercial over and over again. Thank you Bang and Olufsen.

I am an industrial design student and ı have a school project right now. İt's Paimio Chair is one of the iconic chairs and a bluetooth speaker design bearing the Bang & Olufsen brand identity with reference to this chair. I'm excited about this design project. Happy birthday to 95. years! Your ads have very different feelings.
For B&O or any company to release a commercial like this for an anniversary shows that the company deep down inside beyond all the designs and hype and money, they do have a beating heart. Now, if we could find out how many of the board members actually cried after seeing this, that would tell a big tale. I know the original family members would probably have cried. Those that are still alive and care about B&O still today. It is nice to know that a company is run by real human beings with hearts and not just bean counters.

This is genuinely the kinda thing that happened to my family. The Beocenter, the Beolabs and the Beogram were all stored away for decades and presumed to be non functional because of their condition in a damp shed. We were impressed when they all sprung to life since it defied expectations we had about product reliability. It's strange how their stuff genuinely spans across generations in terms of timeless design and reliability.
Absolutely amazing advert, so emotional and literally makes me smile, knowing just how amazing the products are, I hope that items like the ouverture, BS9000 will have their place in say 20-30years time like this :)

OK Folks. We are not going to get the same exact song like the ad. One says it was an old Nancy Wilson tune, and another says Aretha Franklin. In fact it is neither. The only thing that comes close to being the same song is the piano intro before anyone starts singing. The rest of the entire song is completely different. All the lyrics are totally different. So, don't tell people it was an old Nancy Wilson song because it is not. Now, the band that put it together for B&O may hove got their idea from the old song, but I personally think they did a better job. The people that did this for B&O did a great job. However, if in a court of law, if the people that own the rights to the Nancy Wilson version can prove that they stole it, it could be a problem for them legally to release it. I would think that since none of the words are the same, it should be OK to release it but I'm not a copy write lawyer. I just hope that one day before we forget all about it, we can have access to it.
