I love EAL. Its an airline tasted with time, like you test gold with fire. The airline has achieved the lofty position it enjoys because of years and years of quality service. It did this through thick and thin, started at the dusk of WWII and the Dawn of the cold war. It did it through Colonialism, Apartheid, Feudalism and Communism. This is an air line that proved steady through time. Way to go ET we love you.

Ethiopian airlines is world class, Bole however needs a lot of work to get it on par with other 'average' airports i've seen, but still, i would fly Ethiopian any day.
Based on their web page it is 47 in operating fleet and 42 in order. But several of the orders will substitute current fleet. And they were hiring a few years ago. Currently there are only like 12 foreigners. One of them my brother in law (Captain 757/767).
you are right but their plan is to increase their fleet to about 120 in about 10 years. And I believe they are still hiring experienced pilots and they will keep doing for quite a while since they are adding more routes and new fleets each year.
