7:28 Correction, I have a train going through teleporting rail on my server, it does work, it also transports power "wirelessly" through the rail, just connect the station to a line and you have power wherever it is.
slide jumping, blade runners, zip lines, hoverpack, different fuels in vehicles. all still methods of transport and no mentions of them. and hypertube cannons can be built much more compact but are more challenging to do since you cant see where you click just listen to the sound and hope its right for testing
If I’m not mistaken, doesn’t the factory cart have a single inventory slot, take no fuel, and can record a path? If that’s the case, it is technically the most efficient transportation vehicle in the game lol
It is technically efficient transport method, u know assuming that you can get the throughput you need, and they NEVER do vehicle things and cause a pile up!
Back in the day, there was a teleporting mod for the Unreal 4 engine, only for the pioneer. It HATED changing biomes and crashed the game, 100% of the time. The teleporting pad in the 1.0 has an animation to wait the storage to load the place, which prevents the crashing. That seizure fit you see is exactly the game scrambling its eggs to load the scenery.
Should be mentioned that if you slide into a jump pad (might take a few attempts to get it just right), you will go FLYING. Similar to hypertube cannons, but not quite as effective.
4:22 I got irrationally angry that the jetpack would use biofuel before using the packaged fuel. I stopped carrying my chainsaw with my jetpack and finally got it back when i swapped for the hoverpack. Nice quick run-through. Gonna have to try that train and I need those ht cannons. Edit: I wonder if you couldn't just slip this into an existing track so that the auto-drive still detects a path but uses teleports on hitting the blueprinted pieces
@@DeetotheDubs yes, UI sucks as always, but this is rare case when devs really thought that someone might want to carry stuff like jetpack and chainsaw together.
You didn't mention that hypertube cannon speeds can be held inside the hypertube so you can have the speed of the cannon (faster even if you add more) with the same control of a normal hypertube
I think you should've made it a little more clear that in order for this to work, you have to leave that initial setup as part of the deleted blueprint designer like you did. Meaning you need to setup the blueprint designer trick each time you want to create a teleport system. I was confused for quite a while trying to figure out why setting up two instances of the saved blueprint wasn't working.
Ur hyper tube cannon is too long. Just drag the tube out from connection right next to it and repeat, then delete every other one then one side of the tube for more compact

Oh the ziplines i forgot they got a buff in 1.0 and now work so much better.... but then again, are they as fast as a train... that teleports?
@@JDPlays they're actually very good for early game exploration, bc has zero maintain costs, makes easier to open power-based drop pods and kinda safe
You can also now right click, I think, and lock the zip line so you don’t have to hold it
Zipline to build momentum + parachute = infinite glide time at super speeds

Just use the gear icon on the jet pack to set the default

I would argue the fastest and cheapest movement method is actually respawn. Mind you it only works like that one way.

I havent noticed a differnce in speed when using the explorer with different fuel types, the drones however
they are bound to patch the teleporting trains out, so use with caution.

Yeah. Teleporting trains are an obvious bug and will get fixed, so don't use them for anything that you want to last.
I mean hyper loop was a bug, then they made it a feature.
