I''m an O's fan who stumbled across this video, and as soon as I saw you picked Austin Wells for NYY, I knew you knew what you were talking about. Vastly underrated piece of their lineup and defense. Not sure how underrated Anthony Santander is, but can't argue the choice. I'd go with Yennier Cano for the O's. He's been the only reliable bullpen arm they've had all season.
Raisel is the correct individual answer, but I also think the pitching staff as a whole is underrated since it’s literally the only thing keeping ATL afloat. Sale, Fried, López and Schwellenbach have all been pretty good for much of the season but they’re mostly flying under the radar because of how awful the offense has been.
As an Orioles fan, I would go with Albert Suarez. He has stepped up SO much this season, is pitched to an era in the 3.5, and yeah he only has a little more than 100 innings, and he only goes 5-6 innings a start, but he leads the AL in scoreless starts
Jeff Hoffman is a solid take coming from a Phillies fan but I’d personally say Aaron Nola. He’s been under-appreciated his entire career despite being an elite pitcher his entire career. Yes he does give up the long ball a lot recently but he’s an innings eater that’s good at racking up strikeouts, avoiding walks, and has some of the best breaking balls in the MLB. He should have at least 3 all star appearances in his career but he only has one unfortunately.
I was thinking Yainer for the Astros. Dudes outperforming Adley Rutschman and other top catchers in most metrics both offensive and defensive and you don’t really hear much conversation about him.
Huge pirates fan here! Love the Reynolds pick. I also think Joey Bart and even Rowdy have been super underrated as well. If we didn’t go through that crazy losing streak, you are looking at a wild card team!
For the dodgers I would go with Alex Vesia. His fastball has as much rise as anyone else in baseball. He has a sub 2 era in over 50 innings along with being 99th percentile xBA against. Although his walk rate is high, his strikeout rate is 96th percentile making him incredibly underrated in my opinion. He also gets 0 recognition from anyone.
@@matthewcrasko4031kopech has been very good for the dodgers but was pretty bad for the white Sox. His ERA is almost 4 this year while vesia has a sub two.

Willy makes no sense to me at all as a Brewers fan. He has been the "captain" of this team for a while now people know or SHOULD know about him. I'd agree on Tobias Myers or Colin Rea.
As a brewers fan, I personally think that either Rea or Turang are our most underrated players, Willy is definitly up there, but Rea and Turang have been having amazing seasons and nobody is talking about them, hell Turang was by far the second best second baseman in the NL and arguably the best and he didn't even make the All-star team even with other players not playing in it.
For the Mets I personally think your 3b Mark Vientos is more underrated, he is a super solid player no one talks about, everyone expected Lindor to play like this when he was traded to the Mets from Cleveland, Ik Lindor has had some down seasons but we all know Lindor is a really good player.
I would pick Dalton Varsho for the Jays. He gets hated on so much by Jays fans for his lack of offense but imo he is really good. He is the best (or one of the best) defensive outfielders in all of baseball and he has an average bat making him a great guy especially if the offense for the jays was good enough that Varsho was hitting in the 6-9 spots in the order
I'm not quite sure if you know what "underrated" really means. Sure, you can make the odd "Everyone is still underrating Lindor", but you cannot play that card almost every single time; the number of times you pick the clearly best player on a team that everyone knows about, weak. 10:44 as much as I love Wong I don’t understand how you put him at good baseball man in your catchers video then put him underrated here, for the Red Sox I would’ve preferred to see Abreu, Cedane, or O’Neil
I don't know, Tony Taters has been good this year, but Albert Súarez has been unexpectedly good this year!
The reason Zach Neto was hitting ninth was because he actually asked to do so… Ron Washington knows Neto is legit and hit him where he felt most comfortable until he had to move him up because he was raking.
So glad you chose Luis Garcia as your underrated pick for the Nats.
Willy Adames has a Brewers franchise record for most 3 run homers in a season. He’s at like 11 currently
raisel is a good pick but Spencer Schwellenbach is an underrated player on the Braves
singer, and fermin have been amazing
Xavier Edward’s or maybe valente bellozo for my marlins
OMFG Raisel is not having a down year. By far the best closer in the MLB and people do know who he is. If we are talking about underrated for the Braves should’ve been Spencer Schwellenbach
W mark pretty good picks
What about Jose leclerc for the Texas Rangers?
Cards fan, I love Bryan Reynolds! Dudes a stud
Framber has really stepped up for the Astros 😊
I would go with Bowden Francis for the blue jays bro is dominate he just took a no hitter into the 8th inning today and had given up 2 runs in his last 3 starts
guardians also have bo and josh naylor it’s so surprising how good their whole family is
I understand picking Lindor for this season but overall Nimmo is just one of the most underrated players in my opinion even though he isn't having a great year
Luis Robert Jr. was injured for a big chunk of the season. He's having a down season but I think "devastatingly bad' is a bit hyperbolic.
His OPS is 150 points worse than last season, he’s not even a league average hitter this year after being an all star last season. Any way you slice it, it’s been a horrible season for him.
