    Love your videos! You're doing great! I think your talking bothers you more than anyone else. I'd love it if you did a collection of your long and strappy leaf hoyas!

    Hello Jing👋🏼I know you are critical of your speech but I love watching your videos. You are one of my favorites. You are so intelligent and beautiful and you are unassuming and humble which I think are great qualities to have. Your language is very good. I love that clemensiorum! It’s so awesome! I hope you keep making videos.

      You are so sweet and kind! It is always nice to hear your feedback because I can't help but to feel self-conscious when editing for hours... Clemensiorum is definitely one of the best hoyas out there! Big leaves and that prehistoric look...

    Just a small correction, the albo polyneura was first found /developed/mutated in New Zealand. Australia is only slowly getting them in, so they’re super expensive still. NZ hate it when Australia gets credit for their hard work!

    Can confirm that H. verticillata (formerly H. parasitica) is a tough plant.
    It hasn't grown for me, yet. It is winter, here and I purchased it in late summer.
    I am very wary of overwatering, because of recent experiences with H. pubicalyx and H. diversifolia.

    • @planthappens
      @planthappens  Год назад

      Verticillata is definitely quite easy going! I haven't had much experience with diversifolia, but pubixalyx should be fairly easy too. I think growing in semi-hydro is a great solution if you tend to overwater!

    Toronto is the same.. Hope you get time to relax. Happy New Year! 🎉💚🌿if you have a chance I would like to know how to propogate my lacunosa silver.. the main plant was dying ( soil was extremely wet when I purchased plant) so I have some cuttings in a box of perlite.. I see new white tips ( I am guessing roots) but how long until I can plant them? And what substrate? I have hoya in sphagnum and some in pon and some in soil... Thank you if you can help me.. PS some of my hoya/ orchids are from crystal star nursery.. They all came in moss.. Its a small mom, pop and daughter nursery that enables me to buy beautiful plants.. oh and huge FYI that sulpher spray tarnishes gold and silver pretty badly... You are doing a wonderful job..

    • @planthappens
      @planthappens  Год назад

      Thank you for watching! I usually wait until the new roots are about 1 inch long before transferring, but they can actually grow in perlite for quite long without problem. I would transplant hoyas rooted in moss very quickly because it becomes way too difficult to remove the moss and I cut off all the roots to restart when I purchase from CSN (not saying their plants are bad, it's just my preference!) Thanks for the heads up about Sulphur, I think I'm gonna stay away for now 😆
