In the first instalment of Affinity Masterclass, professional miniature artist Felix Hernandez gives us an in-depth look at how he creates one of his signature masterpieces. From making physical assets to posing and shooting them, to post processing using Affinity Photo, follow along as he takes you through his unique creative process from start to finish.

Felix.... damn! You took a system and raised its professional level. That's a first rate webinar. Your advanced skills in photography are apparent in the way you discuss your exposure methods. You have a lot to offer the community. I bet English isn't your first language... yet you're very comfortable in it. Keep going!

I wonder if the editor used premiere pro to edit this video.
Apologies if this is a basic question (I am still new to this), when I open raw files in Affinity photo they come out slightly blurry. Is there a quick and easy way to fix this?
You can try to fix that in the Develop Persona (Raw conversion in Affinity Photo) by going into Basic adjustments / and pushing the "clarity" slider just a bit... and then in the Details Adjustments pushing the slider "Detail Refinement" (The radius and amount sliders)... But just you are aware... this is if your photo it's just a little blurry... If the photo it's totally out of focus you cannot fix it in Affinity. Hope this helps.
Thank you! I find that all my raw photos are slightly blurry wheras the jpeg version of the same photo is much clearer...I'm not sure why that is?..

This video was just ok. I have a feeling the entire masterclass will be the same. You can get a few good things from this but it isn’t up to what masterclass should be
I mean... it doesn't feel like a 'Masterclass', rather like a RUclips tutorial. Of course - Felix has interesting perspective but the overall quality of this video is poor and not really... professional as for 'Masterclass'.
