Just a tip for the people who will buy this, get the white version instead of the black one. The white version let's out more of the flood light, if that's what you want.
My thoughts exactly before I almost bought the dark version.
Ahh shyt!! I literally just ordered the white and black was going to give the white one to my wife 🤦🏾♂️
Thanks my guy it was wondering how to turn on uv light I love these lil lights I have them on all my car keys this is my 1st 10v others are 9v
Thanks for the review😊
The little olights in the battery case is pretty funny to me for some reason.
Very helpful review the best one on RUclips for this light I order one for myself and hope it will be a nice edc light
Thank you for the kind words!
Great review
Thank you!
Perfect! Silly me didn’t even think to read the packaging. Threw it away and went straight into caveman mode. Thanks for the tutorial!
I do the same thing sometimes. Glad the video could help and thanks for watching!
Interesting, unknown brand for me, thx for your review :)
In the same kind, I already have the RovyVon Angel Eyes E8 since 3 months
Same, I hadn’t heard of them before. Tiny lights like this and the Angel Eyes E8 really surprise me with the amount of settings they can pack into a small frame.
I have one of those and my only criticism is the alarm. It's not loud & sounds more like a phone call sound, and requires you to hold the button down to keep it activated. It looks like an upgrade from the V3. The UV is more useful on the V10.
@jimmyross1672 I watch Smothered Chrome also, but he hasn’t put up a video in a month now.
I agree. The alarm is a bit too quiet. Better to go all or nothing for a personal alarm.
I click on anything flashlight u got me
Just received my V-10, my one gripe is my phone cable housing is two wide for the charger to fully plug in so i have to use the provided cable
Disclaimer, the full runtime could likely be the diminishimg runtime down to 10% as per ANSI standards, or as low as moonlight.
Very good point. The runtimes listed in the manual did seem a bit high to me. They do make more sense if they include diminishing output as you point out.
@@PardonMyEnglish still a cool multi featured light for sure. At 3.7V 1000mAh, running at 250 lumens would probably give you about 2, maybe 3 hours of regulated runtime at max brightness, and that's under ideal conditions with a single LED. There's a non-scientific unit of measure that is popular in the flashlight community called "lumen-hours", where the output lumens are multiplied by the runtime in hours, and actually does serve a decent ballpark approximation of what is feasible especially if you test it first on a reputable brand.
Nice, good to know! Thanks
How did it take me this long to find your channel? I’m a flashlight junkie. I’m buying a couple of these now.
Nice! Glad you found the channel and welcome!
Just got my second one in the mail. Been using the first one I got for a full year every day in my pocket. It's a wonderful powerful flashlight. And if you have a double ended type c cord. U can use it as a 1000 milamp battery charger. Which alot of people never consider doing. It's also great for self defense. But keep it out of people's eyes and don't shine it in the eyes of your dogs or other animals It will do serious damage. The laser is wonderful for point now objects as you're talking to somebody but also for long distance communication to grab someone's attention at long distance a laser is perfect. Only thing it misses is a pocket clip. Remedy this problem I've been using a breakaway lanyard type system
Does it output electricty, can the v10 charge things? Tried to charge my airpods, but no charging occurred
@@AdrianColumbus yeah but you got to have a cord that has two type c ends to it
@@AdrianColumbusno it doesnt charge things. It also doesnt have a laser this guys a moron
I ordered one of these pretty cheap on another site. How is the plastic? Does this feel well built? I just think it will be a fun little torch honestly, I primarily use my flashlights to navigate thru my house in the dark or outside at night so nothing majorly tactical needed 😅
It feels well made and I don’t think you can go wrong for the price.
Take my money
How do you turn on the UV light on it tho
Triple clicking the lightning bolt switch will turn on the UV. I showed it pretty late in the video at around the 9:15 mark if you’d like to see it in action.
The ones listen on ebay as boruit are those real boruit or are those some cheap version of these?
Good question. I see what you mean. The prices are really low but they look legit. I’m not 100% sure though.
@@PardonMyEnglish that is the only possible way for me to import them im my country for like 17-18usd total with customs and stuff.. do you think i should go for it? I am not sure but they too have the exact backup time and stuff listed on those..
That’s up to you of course but it might be worth a shot. They do look the same…
Thanks! I just got mine and the "manual" is borderline useless.
Glad the video could help!
It's true run time ?
Good question. I think I misunderstood that the output drops off gradually instead of sustaining the same brightness when making the video. I haven’t tested the exact runtimes myself but the ones stated by the manufacturer are including the gradual step down to zero, I imagine.
Double click is a no for me😢. Everything else is good for me.
I have one and more disappointed, the 450 lumen mode and supposed “turbo” mode are the same brightness (no difference) the side lights and UV light are WAY too dim and the alarm is unbelievably quite.
Yes, the alarm isn’t quite loud enough in my opinion, especially if used outdoors.
The side lights and UV are actually quite good...
